When your older sister, Hermione, got her letter for Hogwarts, you were excited for her, to say the least. You were so happy that you had a wizard in you family. Even though many muggle parents and siblings would probably react in a negative way, you couldn't have been prouder and more amazed. You were a year younger, and were quietly hoping that you would get a letter too. However, when you didn't get one the year you turned eleven, or the year after that, you didn't get discouraged and just kept rooting for Hermione. She would send you letters every week, and a common occurrence in them would be the infamous Draco Malfoy. Once, in her third year, she talked about how she punched him, and how it released so much stress. You had been quick to write a letter back, telling her that you didn't think she was the type to punch someone. You also told her to get a gym membership and start boxing to relieve stress. She didn't take this advice, but you certainly did. When you turned fourteen, Hermione was in her fifth year at Hogwarts. She hadn't been sending any letters recently, and you started becoming worried. You begged your parents to let you take boxing/kickboxing lessons, and they reluctantly agreed. By the age of 15, you could practically beat anyone in a fight. You never went into competitive boxing, much to your trainer's disappointment. You had your sights set on being a lawyer, wanting to maybe even be a diplomatic muggle in the wizarding community. Hermione had said that could happen.

However, when you were sixteen, everything changed. One day, during summer, Hermione came to your room.

"Hey Y/N, can I talk to you about something?"

"Sure 'Mione, anything." She seemed extra nervous at this point, and started playing with her fingers.

"Um... I have to leave." You shot up from laying on your belly from the bed, and sat up criss-cross, your back against the wall. You patted the seat next to you and she gratefully took the seat. You leaned your head on her shoulder, waiting for her to continue.

"My friends, Harry and Ron, are going on a mission to search for the remaining horcruxes. They need me there, and I can't leave them behind. I have to obliviate Mum and Dad, effectively wiping their memories. They'll think they're other people, and their lifelong goal has been to go to Australia. I'm sorry. I won't bring myself to do this to you, since I've promised to always protect you, but please, I need you to get out of London. I need to protect you." She had started to choke up beside you and you turned fully to wrap your arms around her. She leaned against your head, and you both cried.

"Alright, I'll go. But, I have no where to go to."

"Oh. Um... You could probably live with the Weasleys. They are staying at their house, but they will be monitored by the ministry. Which, sadly, has been taken over by the deatheaters. But, they will keep you safe."

"It's decided then. I'll stay with the Weasleys, and you will go find horcruxes. God, I'll miss you so much."

"I'll miss you too. I'll help you pack. After, I'll have to obliviate Mum and Dad." A few tears escaped as she said this, still not completely okay with making her parents forget who she is. You nodded, and got your suitcase out from under your bed. I started opening all cabinets and took out the most essential clothes. Underwear, bras, pants, shirts, etc. You tried to put it in the suitcase in an orderly fashion, but didn't really care. Hermione started to also put your clothes in. She hurried out of your room and back in, but this time carrying her Gryffindor cloak. She ripped off the Gryffindor patch and handed it to you. Then she took it back and quickly pulled out her wand, casting a few spells.

"This is so I will always be able to find you, and you me. Just tap twice on the lions head, and you'll know where I am. Please, always keep this with you. It will also keep you safe." She handed it back to you, and you stuck it into your back jeans pocket.

"Thank you, Hermione. I hope I will see you again."

"We will see each other again. I promise". You hugged once more, and she apparated you to where the Weasleys' lived. She quickly went to talk to an elderly women with red hair in another room, and then she came back out. She hugged you tight, and then apparated away.

"Hello dear, I'm Molly. I'm Ron's mum", the lady with the red hair said. She opened her arms for you, and you stepped into them, glad that someone just wants to comfort you.

"Now, this house is being monitored by the ministry, so you can't leave. I'm sorry dear, but we don't want you to be taken away." You nodded, tearing up.

"Where will I be staying?" Her face lit up, like she just remembered that you were a human being and needed a room.

"Oh, sorry dear. Nearly forgot! Let me lead you there" She took your hand and led you upstairs. The last door to the right was the one that she opened, and inside was just a simple bed with a closet and desk next to it. There was a small window, but it had some weird tint to it, probably to keep the people from outside to be able to peek. You nodded at her in thanks, and entered your room for the time being. You pulled your suitcase along, and opened the closet. You pulled out your clothes from your suitcase and put them in their respective place in the closet. You then closed it and lay on the bed. You still had to process everything that had just happened, and you were mentally exhausted. You felt your eyelids droop, and fell into a deep slumber.
