I felt the collar clip on with a terrifying clicking noise. I cringed. "Don't do this.....Please......" The man, Bob, looked down at me, smiling. "Kuro, you look so funny!" I had a sinking feeling. "Don't call me Kuro, you idiot!" I hissed furiously. "Let me go!" I sank my teeth into Bob's arm. Bob recoiled, dropping the leash he used to hold onto me. I clawed at the collar with all my might. Fire burned in Bob's eyes as he dragged me into the car and put me into a cage. He set me down in the passenger's seat next to him. I whimpered as the car engine started. Bob pressed his foot down on the pedal and we were off. I struggled, but failed to escape the clutches of the cold cage bars. Bob sighed. "Kuro, you always do this. It's just a monthly visit to the vet to make sure you're healthy!" I hissed at him again. "Meow," I said.
