Dororo runs to the man as he tries to get more fish from the river
"hey I just heard something that we can get money with" the energetic boy said pushing the man out of the water, before I know it we're heading to a village that is being haunted by a monster. you sense someone in the forest and see a spirit so does the man but we kept walking. we made it to the village and were greeting by a nice man.
"did you just say a monster??"
"you can't hide it from me we heard there's a monster in the village and you need help, lucky for you my bro here kills monsters" Dororo chuckles and look at the old man
"well if you can get rid of it the villagers would do much to repay you, right?" he asks the others around him and they all agree they would repay us
"I like the way you talk chief" Dororo smirks
"Oh, I'm not the chief I'm just filling in for her, our chief is lady Bandai, she injured her legs and can't walk" he states
"Oh my" I say acting like I'm blind to the lies as I can sense a demon aura around him
"you can stay at my house for the night" the man smiles and leads the way
"thanks" I say and look at Dororo as he drags the mute man along, after we finish eating we lay in the barn I don't sleep still feeling uneasy about this village
Ring ring a bell rang as the door opened revealing that large headed spirit from earlier
"M-monster!" Dororo shouts as I put my hand on his shoulder to calm him
"that's not the monster, relax"
"What is it than??" he asks still scared
"he's just a lost spirit"
"yarou ka??"
(English, "you want?")
"don't pay any attention to him and he'll leave" I say and look at the mute man, a few seconds pass and it leaves. we go to sleep but I sleep for only 3 hours from what I can tell, I look at he ceiling bored out of my mind and start to hum to myself. some odd hours later the sun comes up and the old man walks in
"lady Bandai wishes to meet you" he says looking somewhat dead inside,
"alright let go Dororo" I smile and help him and the mute man up, we start walking to her manner and I feel sick. once we got inside I felt like puking everywhere
"It's so dark in here" Dororo mutters
"Here let me light a candle" a female voice says, and its a pretty lady but I look at her and don't say anything but I bow to show my respect I mean she may be a demon but she is also the chief.
"your so pretty~"Dororo say in awe
"Oh why thank you little one, I'm Bandai sorry for asking you to come see me" she covers her mouth with her sleeve
"thats okay, we wanted to meet you so It's not a problem I hope your legs are alright" (Sorry your character is so dark and fake lol I'm trying to get used to writing I'm not that good.) I smile at the lovely lady as the mute man removes his arm to reveal his blade attached to it and tries to attack Bandai
"Hey this isn't the time for that." I hold him back understanding he wants to kill her I guess thats all he knows right now.
"Hey! what are you dong bro!!??" Dororo shouts trying to hold the man back as Bandai's servants come in to throw us in the storehouse.
"She was a kind looking lady, you really can't see can you??" Dororo says angry
"It's not his fault he was taught to kill demons" I frown and look at the ground
"What do you mean she's a demon? can he really see?" He asks with a confused face
"I've seen you before" a old man stood and walked to the mute boy
"really priest you can see?" Dororo asked
"hehe we can see things people with sight can't see" the priest chuckles
"Ehh???"
"we see souls, to me your just a small white flame" he looks over to you "your soul is a strange one but not a bad one" He looks at you with a small smile on his face. the mute man jumps up and I get in front of Dororo
"somethings coming" I frown, as I say that a large monster comes in and blow out the candles so it could attack better. It tries to grab Dororo but I cut its fingers as the mute man cuts its head, it screeches and retreats into the well and the man follows and I right behind him. we go through the well and come out in front of Bandai's manner. we break down her door
"attacking a sick woman like me why?" she smirks
"shut up we know what you really are" Me and the priest say, the mute boy takes his arms off and slashes at her as do I but the man who let us stay at his place, Denkichi, throws a sheet over us
"run Lady Bandai!!" he shouts as she darts into the bamboo forest
"what the hell was that for" I grab his shirt and glare at him but quickly let go and run after her and the mute boy, when I catch up to them the boy is trapped against the ground as the spirit distracts the demon and the boy slices it's face open. It's tail unravels and reveals the chief
"It is you, you must still be here because IT couldn't finish you, lets see if you can actually get your body ba--" I interrupt her talking by cutting her off the beast as the boy stabs her in the face killing her.
"Bandai!" Denkichi shouts falling to the ground in tears
ring
Dororo follows the spirit as it disappears over a pile of dirt, he digs
"There's money lot's of it too!" Doro shouts with a smile on his face
"The money from the travelers you let Bandai eat" the priest says
"what?" Doro looks at Denkichi
"the first one had a lot of road money with him" he shakes
"you..." I clench my fists and walk away slowly "disgust me.."
the others catch up to me, the mute man looks at you and stops in front of you and grabs your face
"w-what??" you blush as he writes his name on the ground
"Hyakki.. maru, Hyakkimaru!!! that's your name!" I jump and hug him
"so he does have a name!" Doro smirks
The man grabs his head in pain "Hey what wrong??"
