I groaned slightly as I rolled out of the bed in the hotel I was staying at. I was on the last week of my three-week work trip in Georgia for a conference for music producers from all over the country. And yes, if you were wondering, I am a music producer. Changing out of my blue pajama pants and my white tank top, I looked out the window of the hotel room to see a black car zooming by the hotel and into the parking lot. I was confused, to say the least, but I groaned again when I saw Hoagie and Bob get out of the car. The telltale navy blue suit and khaki-polo duo were whispering to someone who was driving the car, whom I soon identified to be Hoagie's wife Anna. Shaking my head to myself, I brushed out my hair and pulled my maroon beanie over it. Making sure I was somewhat presentable, I waited for the two of them to knock on the door.

I shook my head as I heard Bob and Hoagie knock on my hotel room door. I opened the door and smiled, "Hey guys! What are you doing here?" I heard a woman behind the two of them as they walked into my room, "Umm, why are we here? Who is this?" I looked from the woman to both Bob and Hoagie, "Bob. Hoagie. Why are you guys here? I'm at a con-" Hoagie cut me off, "A conference. Yeah, we know. We need your help with something." I glanced at my phone screen and grimaced as I saw the date, "Crap. I forgot it was May." The woman asked again, "Okay, who is this?" I reached out to shake the woman's hand as I introduced myself, "Sorry about all of this. Hi, I'm Skylar Pierce." The woman nodded as she shook my hand, "Rebecca Crosby. Wall Street Journal." I nodded, impressed as I gave her a smile, "Cool! I guess then that you know all about this game that the boys play?" She nodded and I could tell that Hoagie was getting restless as he cut our conversation short, "Look, Sky, we need your help this season."

I shook my head as I walked past the two of them, grabbing my leather messenger bag, "I wish I could help you guys, but as I said, I'm at my conference right now. We can talk about this later." Bob finally spoke for a second when Hoagie gave up, "We need your help to tag Jerry, Sky." I paused for a moment, finally turning to Bob and Hoagie, "Why? He's just at his house, I called him literally ten minutes ago." Bob and Hoagie looked confused for a second, making me ask, "Why do you guys look so confused?" Hoagie took a step forward and asked me, "You do know that he's getting married in a few days, right?"

Time stopped for a second, my face draining until it was a faint pale, "W-What?" Bob and Hoagie both walked toward me in an attempt to comfort me, "You didn't know?"  I shook my head furiously, tears welling up in my eyes, "N-No! I knew he was eng...

Time stopped for a second, my face draining until it was a faint pale, "W-What?" Bob and Hoagie both walked toward me in an attempt to comfort me, "You didn't know?"  I shook my head furiously, tears welling up in my eyes, "N-No! I knew he was engaged, but I thought they weren't finished planning the wedding yet. He said that he was going to need my help with planning the venue and things like that. Why wouldn't he tell me? Did he not want to invite me, his little sister?" I heard Rebecca mumble a question under her breath as I sat down on the bed in shock, "Why wouldn't Jerry tell her that he was getting married?" Everything put itself together like pieces of a puzzle as I growled, "Because I'm Chilli's girlfriend, that's why." Rebecca looked confused as she asked, "Who's Chilli?" Bob explained who Chilli was, but I was too focused on the fact that my big brother wouldn't invite me to his own wedding. I shot up from the bed and grabbed all my stuff, throwing it into my suitcase in seconds. Hoagie was clearly surprised by this as I pushed past him and burst out my hotel room door, "Woah, Sky, are you okay?" I quickly ran down the stairs and went out to the car that they came in, throwing my suitcase into the trunk, "Alright. I'm helping you guys with this. But, when we get back to Spokane, I'm going to kill Jerry."

Anna peaked over from the driver's seat and asked, "Hey Skylar! What's wrong?" I shook my head, not wanting to answer her as I sat in the second row of seats in the back, with Bob and Rebecca sitting in front of me and Hoagie sitting in the passenger seat. Hoagie whispered to her from the front seat, "Jerry didn't invite her to his wedding." I sniffled in the backseat, "He didn't even bother to tell me about it because he probably thought that I would tell Chilli and the guys about it." Anna frowned as she shifted the car into drive and sped her way towards the airport, "Okay. We're going to Denver first then." I perked up when Anna mentioned the city that Chilli and his father lived in, "Why?" Hoagie turned around to face me in his seat as he explained, "Today's the year that we're going to tag Jerry. At least it has to be since he's retiring after this season to leave us with his perfect record. Therefore, I'm gathering everyone for one last shot at him." My eyes widened slightly at this new information as I attempted to process it, "Okay. Let's do this."
