01- Eighth Year??
//this story will be written in POV, for now, everything will be in Hermione's point of view until I point out that it has changed which will be maybe once or twice, thank you :)

I sit on my bed hugging my knees, I just received a letter inviting me back to Hogwarts to redo my seventh year. should I go??

I sigh, all my friends will return and I don't want to be alone. I have to go, I groaned and started packing as the train leaves in two days time.

I make my way on the train making sure my jumper sleeves were over the tips of my fingers ensuring that no one would see anything they weren't meant to see. I look around for Harry or Ron but can't find them at all, I sigh and head to the head boy and girl compartment. I sit on one side with my feet up, I have a blanket draped over myself and a muggle book in my hands.

I hear the compartment door open and see none other than Draco Malfoy enter the compartment "Granger" he nods his head toward me and I do the same, I sigh and place both silencing and locking charm on the compartment. I turn to Malfoy "did your- you know what change?" he looked at me

"Yeah it did, and you can say what it is, we have the compartment to ourselves" he lifted up his sleeve to reveal his dark mark but added above the mark was a small king crown, my eyes widen and I lift my jumper sleeve to reveal mine- I had a small queen crown instead of kings "I read up on it, its meant to be like a bond, obviously we both have the mark but I'm talking about the crowns"

Draco nodded "Zambini, Nott, and Parkinson owled me over the Holidays and told me that stuff was added to their marks as well" I nod my head "did you get upset over something during the break? because my mark and the crown started glowing and I immediately thought of you, then I got letters from the others saying you were in trouble or something"

I furrow my brows "yeah I was a little upset over the break because of Ron" Draco rolled his eyes "what did Weasel do now?"

I shake my head that's not important

Draco stared at me

Are you sure? "stop using legimency on me" Draco chuckled
and put his hands up, "I think you made the bond between us five" I stared at him shocked "how?"

"we only got the calls when you were upset, you have the queen symbol and the queen is the most important piece on the board" I nod finally understanding

"you four have to be twats to me for the time being until I can find a way to tell Harry and Ron"

he nods, I yawn and start to fall asleep, thank god I put my robes on earlier.

I felt myself being lifted up and I opened my eyes lightly to see Draco carrying me off the train "Are we here already?" he put me down gently "yeah I tried to wake you but you smacked me in the face asking for ten more minutes and obviously I couldn't leave you on the train" I nodded and started walking toward the carriages while Draco caught up with me, I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see who the finger belonged to "Harry!" I wrapped my arms around him, I pull away from him "How's Teddy?"

Harry explained that Teddy is staying with his grandmother until Harry finishes school, I look behind him and I see Ron "oh hi Ron..." Ron just stared at me and smiled.

"Mudblood hurry up we don't have time to talk to Pot-head and Weasel" Draco smirked at me, I grinned at him and turned around "shut up dragon" I turned back to Harry and Ron "sorry I have to head off now, I'll visit you guys in the common room some time" I hugged Harry and hopped on the head boy and girl carriages

"Somethings different with her, she didn't even flinch when Malfoy said mudblood"
"Hermione doesn't like people seeing her pain, remember when you joked about Crookshanks dying? She rolled her eyes but we found her crying in the bathroom"

"Attention students" I looked from my place behind the curtains of the staff seating area waiting for Professor McGonagall for her signal to come out "It is time to introduce our new Head boy and girl if Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy could come up to the podium" I shake away my nerves and let go of Draco's hand- which I didn't know I was holding in the first place and we walked up to the podium together. I smiled nervously as I watched the students stare at us.

"how the fuck?"

I stared at the three Slytherins in front of me whilst the other Slytherin beside me explained our situation, we sat in the head prefects common room.

"I just know it's centered around mudblood" I smiled at the nickname, though it used to be such an offensive word to me it's become something that us five share in a weird way because I'm their mudblood.

"so I heard Weasel and you had some problems" Pansy stared at me with her brows raised "nothing we just had a little disagreement" all four of them stared at me and I sigh "So I thought he liked me because all holidays he was kissing me and hugging me and we were acting like a couple" I pause

"Ok and where does it get to the reason I woke up to my mark glowing and a princes mark imprinting on my arm?"

Theo stared at me tiredly
"I found him and Lavender's letters talking about snogging and shagging, I confronted him and he got mad at me because I read the letters."

I fake yawn and tell them I'm going to sleep, I close my room door and I sit on my bed.
