The Town Of Ironmoor

The beginning

Olivia had just gotten to Ironmoor before she had learned that she needed to start school in a week! She couldn't believe it! She only had a week to get settled in, explore, find her way to school, and most important... make some friends! But the friends could wait for school. She spent most of the first couple days unpacking and settling in, that took up most of the week, it took her three days to finally get all of her clothes organized, get all of her stuff out of boxes, and to get used to the house. The next two days she spent exploring the neighborhood and listening to rumors. She found out fairly quickly that Moors Spirit is where the 'emo' kids hung out, the abandoned playground was where the 'jocks' hung out, the 'girly girls' hung out at the mall, the arcade was where the 'nerds' hung out, the 'outsiders' hung out wherever they ended up, and most importantly to Olivia at least the 'popular' kids hung out at the football field behind the school. The last two days she spent trying to find the quickest way to get to her new school, Adams high. In the morning of the last day before school she found out the fastest way to get to school was cutting through the abandoned playground and walking straight until you ended up at the front of the school, the total time it took her to do that was ten minutes walking and five running. She spent the rest of the day on Youtube. The next day Olivia woke up to her alarm blaring her favourite boy band, One Direction. She smiled happily at the fact she started school today. Olivia got up out of bed and made her way to the bathroom. She had a quick shower and went to her closet. "Hmm what to wear, what to wear." Olivia pondered looking at all of her clothes. She finally came to a decision to wear her favourite outfit, a pair of jeans with huge rips in the knees with a plain white tee tucked into them, a black lace choker, plain black sneakers. She has her straight black hair pulled into a messy bun and she has a bright red lipstick on. The only makeup she wears is concealer to hide her lack of sleep. With her look all ready she slid down the banister and strode towards the kitchen. Olivia found a note on the kitchen counter that read:
sorry, had to go to work early this morning. I hope you have a great first day at school!
Love dad
Olivia was surprised that her dad started work so early. She shrugged at the note and snached an apple off the fruit tray. As she bit the apple she made her way back upstairs. Olivia grabbed her books, textbooks, snacks, pencils, art supplies and put them all in her colourful backpack with shapes all over it. She then quickly made her way back downstairs and towards the door, when a strange sparkling caught her attention. Olivia thought she was seeing things but when she went up to it and touched it, it left glitter on her hand. "Weird," she muttered before realizing there was a trail of it leading outside. Olivia thought that she shouldn't follow it but her curiosity got the better of her. The trail led her to the back of a convenient store called Al's. Finally it stopped right in front of a huge pair of trash cans, Olivia thought it was disgusting. But once again her adventurous side came over her and she opened the trash can, it looked deep. So Olivia realized there was no way except down to go, so she climbed up into the bin and it was empty. She was just falling and falling and falling.
