Geonhak stumbles into his apartment after almost dropping the box of cats while unlocking his door. He swiftly manages to catch them and his keys before everything ends badly. Thank god his building allows pets or else this would be a lot more difficult. His landlady even offered him some cat food when he ran into her in the lobby. She was really understanding, as she rescues cats herself. She sent him off with some cat food for the night, anti-flee pet shampoo, and a number for the local vet.

Geonhak places the box on the couch and makes a mental note to clean everything after the cats leave. "I'm going to treat your wound first, ok? Then I'll give you some food." The black cat stares at him blankly and the white cat nudges it forward. "It's ok. I won't hurt you, kitten." The black cat leaps-less than gracefully-out of the box and trudges its way behind Geonhak. He stops in the kitchen by the sink. He picks it up and places it on the counter, ordering it to stay put. He wets a paper towel and carefully begins to dab at the cat's wound. It lets out a short cry of protest, but settles and let's Geonhak clean its wound. He tosses the soiled towel in the trash can, "That's the best I can do, sorry. I'll take you to the vet tomorrow for a proper treatment." He sets the cat back onto the floor and it trots back to its fellow cat in the box.

"I'm sorry about this, but I've got to wash you both before I let you roam. I don't want any flees or ticks." He picks up the box and transports them to the bathroom. He draws a bath at lukewarm and places the cats inside. Surprisingly, they barely put up a fight while he rinses and scrubs their fur. He's careful to avoid the black cat's wound as he washes it. Finally, he drains his tub-water now a dull brown color-and dries the cats with his fluffiest, softest towel. He tosses the dirty box in the trash can. When they're all dry, he motions for them to follow him back into the kitchen.

Geonhak procures a small soup bowl from his cupboard to use as a dish for the cat food. He fills it with the food the landlady gave him and places it on the floor. He pulls an identical bowl out and fills it with water. "Alright, kitties, I'm going to take a shower. Go ahead and get some food and such. Feel free to roam around."

He leaves the cats satisfied and makes a quick stop at his bedroom to pull out some pajamas to change into and leaves the door open in case one of the cats wants to come in. He carries his pajamas into the adjoining bathroom and lets the shower heat up as he removes his clothes and discards them in the hamper. He's about to get in the shower when he hears a startled meow. He turns around to see the black cat jump and scurry past the door as if it's afraid of what's inside.

Geonhak shrugs, "Maybe it's afraid of water after all..."

Geonhak finishes his shower quickly, as it's late, and wraps a towel around his waist while he dries his hair. He's feeling extra lazy, especially following the events of today, so he just uses a towel to dry his hair. Before he gets dressed, he applies moisturizer to his face and body. Finally, he slips on the black t-shirt and red gym shorts combo. He tosses his towel into the hamper and makes his way back into the kitchen. He should probably grab a quick snack since he hasn't eaten dinner yet...

"What the fuck!" If Geonhak was holding something right now, he would've definitely dropped it. Sitting on his counter drinking one of his mango juice boxes is a man he's never seen before. Worse, he's stark naked. Even weirder, he's got a pair of cat ears and a tail. Geonhak grabs the nearest object-a throw pillow-and arms himself. "Who the fuck are you? What are you doing in my house?"

The man just sighs and rolls his eyes, "Hi to you too."

"Answer the question!" He waves the pillow to show he's not afraid to defend himself.

"Kitten."

"Huh?"

"I'm the cat, well one of them, you brought home."

"Should I call the cops?"

Another eye roll, "Is it really that hard to understand?" The man hops off the counter and turns to face Geonhak properly. Geonhak is quick to advert his eyes before he sees something he'll regret. "I'm a cat. Meow meow, I guess."

Geonhak reaches for his phone, "I think I'm going to call security-"

"Ugh! Look, I'm a shifter. You found me in my cat form and brought me here. I just shifted into my human form while you were in the shower."

"How could you be the cat I brought in? What'd you do to it? Prove it!"

The man sighs again and starts to turn around. Geonhak yelps but the man interrupts him, "Relax. Look." Geonhak slowly opens his eyes to see a clean cut from the man's right shoulder down to his left hip. Identical to the cat's he brought in.

"Ok...that's weird."

"Yep, it's not a coincidence."

"And the other cat...?"

"A shifter too; my twin brother actually. He's still in his cat form, though. He was worried you'd freak if we shifted. He's laying on your bed at the moment."

"Why'd you shift if you knew it'd freak me out?"

"I had to. We heal faster when we're in our human forms. I need to heal that wound. Plus, the vet is scary." Geonhak snorts and the man glares, "Shut up! You've never been there, you don't know what they do to us."

Geonhak chokes back a cackle, "Ok...so what's your name?"

"I'm Dongju and my brother is Dongmyeong. We look pretty similar, so just know I'm the black cat and he's the white one. He'll have white ears and blond hair when he shifts."

"Ok, Dongju-ssi, are you staying here?"

"I mean, I was invited in."

"That was before I knew you were a human!"

"Hybrid more like it, but I see your point. I don't really have anywhere else to go, so it'd be nice if I could stay."

"Don't you have a home?"

"You think you'd find us in a box on the street if we did?

Geonhak pauses to think about it, "Alright, you two can stay. Just please don't scratch everything up."
