It was August 11, 2017. I got invited to a friend of mines birthday dinner. I still remember the restaurant name and where we sat. Him and his twin sisters birthday dinner. I walk in late and I'm greeted by everyone. I get nervous as I see 3 people I know. Once I sit down, I am greeted by this kind, cute, bright smiled boy. He stands up, smiles and puts his hand out in front of him for me to shake. He said his name was Ben. I had never seen a smile so bright and wide like his before. I think he was wearing a plaid shirt. I don't know but all through dinner, from the corner of my eye, I was staring at him. From the very first moment I met him, my heart dropped and I felt, what you guys call butterflies in my stomach. We exchanged snapchats and he apologized in advanced for losing any streaks we may start as he claimed he was bad at keeping up with them. I laughed and said it was alright, I was too. He had asked how I knew our friends, their names were Daniel and Olivia, the twins who we were celebrating. I told him how we went to summer camp together. We continued to talk for a little while longer while he told us he had to leave as he had another birthday dinner to attend to. I was smiling the rest of the night cause he was all I could think about. All of us that attended the birthday dinner, went back to the birthday twins house, I met a lot more people but he was the only one I could think of.
There is more to all of this and I will write more in the next chapter I guess you can call it.
