The power you will when someone's near 

The funnies the whole block can hear

The feeling of unlimited discussion

The special person who won't get you rushin'

The emotion behind every glance

The person who makes you want to dance 

The excitement building when they call

The person who will never let you fall

The argument screeching twenty blocks down

Scary stuff going down when no one's around

That person who is really hurt the most 

That person that angrily boast 

That one who comes around 

True friendship is what you found

Best friends forever, of all they are above 

That is when you find the true meaning of love

Not something boyfriend/girlfriend share

Not just secrets here and there

But someone who stays loyal to you

Never laughs at you or at hard times bid ado 

When you find that friend treat them well

'cause they won't leave at a ring of a bell

So keep them close like a friendly dove

'cause that's when you found the true meaning of love
