You'd half expected no call back, half expected him to start yelling again.

But you were wrong on both ends. After you went back to your room the yelling stopped completely.

Sitting near the window, you sighed contentedly. Quiet, finally.

You took the time to get some things done as you couldn't exactly go to the beach. Grabbing your sketchbook and pencils, you began to lightly scribble the outline of a familiar face.

You started with his bushy eyebrows, then went down to his oddly colored eyes. One was a brownish red and the other a light shade of blue. Smiling, you finished off with the nose and mouth.

Sure he wasn't nice but he looked nice in the drawing. You had a habit of sketching people who caught your eye. From an interesting haircut to weird clothing.

You turned the pages of your sketchbook and smiled a bit wider. There were loads of drawings of people on the transit, walking down the street, or just enjoying themselves at a cafe.

Leaning back, you decided to just listen to the rain for a bit, "this is nice. " You mumbled.

Then the phone rang.

You huffed and walked over to the nightstand next to the bed. Digging around in the drawer, you managed to grab ahold of your phone.

An unknown number.

"I don't even get why he's calling me I'm right next door." You looked down at the phone again, hesitating a bit before finally answering.

"Took ya long enough. I'm outside your door. Do me a favor and let me in yeah?"

Ok. Rude.

"Yeah just.... Let me tidy up." You hung up and put your clothes that were still on the bed in a drawer under the TV set before walking up to the door and opening it a pinch.

You looked out and sure enough he was there.

"Oh come on love I don't bite." He cooed.

You looked away and took a breath before opening it all the way, only for him to shove past you.

"Tiny room. " He muttered.

Ok first of all. The room was not tiny, and in fact costed you quite a bit. So now you were twice as annoyed.

"Anyway I wanted to talk about that little call you made dear." He looked over at you and smirked.

"Wh-what about it?" You looked down and blushed.

"I wanted to make it up to you. What do ya say? Me, you, dinner?"

You looked up at him, quite shocked, "I don't even know your name. " You replied, quickly averting your gaze again.

"What? Are you saying you don't know who I am just by these devilish looks of mine?" He teased walking up to you and grabbing your chin before leaning into your ear,  "I'm Murdoc Niccals love. AKA the sexiest and best guitarist you'll ever have a chance to lay eyes on."

You pulled away, your face completely red as you glared at him.

"More like the rudest." You muttered.

"What was that love?"

Jumping slightly, you stood up straight, "N-nothing!"

Murdoc chuckled and bowed before taking your hand, "What do ya say? 7 p.m.? You and me baby." He said before kissing it and letting go.

You let out a nervous chuckle, "I-uh well-"

"Great! See you in the lobby at seven!" He started walking to the door, "Oh, " Turning to face you, he smirked, "wear something nice."

You stood there dumbfounded as he closed the door, "Did that really just happen?" I asked no one in particular. I could hear Murdocs voice through the door, "Better believe it baby."
