"Jared. I made you these pancakes. They're probably not good but I hope I did it just how you like them!"
Jared took a bite out of his boyfriend's pancakes, inwardly cringing with disgust at it's raw, uncooked taste, nonetheless, faking a smile on his face.
"It's delicious! Thanks babe."
Ethan smiles brightly in relief.
"Ethan, why don't you go shower? You must've been working hard so you go shower while I finish your delicious pancakes."
Ethan nods happily and walks away into the bathroom. Jared's face drops to a frown in distaste as he scrapes the sticky pancake into the trash can beside his bed.
"Who would fucking eat that crap?!" Jared murmurs to himself.
Jared walks over to his closet and suits up for work, packing his briefcase with notes and files strewn over the table, leftover from the night before.
"Bye, Ethan. I'm going to work!"
Jared hears a muffled 'bye' back just before he exits the house.

"Jared, how was your morning?"
Jared grunts in response to Warren, Warren smirking.
"I heard from Peter that Ethan made you breakfast in bed. How lucky you must be."
Jared scowls.
"If being given disgusting food is lucky. He can't even cook good food. What other shit can he mess up?"
Warren's smug face drops to a scowl in return.
"Why are you being so nasty towards him?"
Jared groans, rolling his eyes.
"Cause he can't do anything right. Everything he does get's screwed up because he has no skill or talent in anything."
A clanging fills the room as both Jared and Warren turn their heads towards the doorway.
Peter stands there with a disgusted face.
"How can you say that about Ethan?! He has done everything he can to please you. He drops everything he's doing just to give you what you want and yet you can't even take the time to appreciate what he does for you?! You make me sick!"
Warren instantly goes over to comfort his husband before glaring back at Jared.
"Jared, you better fix this bull shit mindset you have. Ethan deserves better than the shit you're giving him."
Jared growls lowly but walks into his office.
———————————————————————————
Ethan startles from dinner when he hears the doors open. Running towards the door smiling, Ethan greets Jared.
"Welcome home, Jarebear! Dinner's almost ready. I ordered takeout but I'm also cooking some seaweed wraps to go with it.
Jared grumbles, instantly worrying Ethan.
"Is something wrong Jared? Do want to eat something else?"
Jared, ignoring Ethan, continued walking up the stairs, getting more agitated with the constant questioning.
"Jared...did I...do something wrong?"
Jared turned around sharply.
"Yes. You've done everything wrong."
Ethan felt his heart cracking.
"W-What did I do?"
"It's just as I said...everything."
Ethan's hands start to clutch at his hair.
"But I don't understand!"
Jared growls.
"Then let me tell you! You can't do shit. Everything you give me becomes garbage. The stuffed bear, the food, every-fucking-thing! You can't do anything right! Nothing that comes out of your effort is worth anything! You're nothing! The pancakes you gave me this morning?! Yeah. I threw them out! You know why?!"
Ethan was sobbing in his hands at this point as Jared continued.
"Because you're not enough for me!"
Ethan sniffed and aggressively wiped away his tears.
"Jared...I tried. I knew I wasn't good enough. I couldn't cook, clean, do anything to help myself. But I tried because I though you'd be there to support me. To help me through my issues."
Ethan started scratching at his arms in an attempt to injure himself.
"I'm sorry I wasn't enough! I'm sorry that I can't do anything right! I'n sorry that nothing I do is worth anything! I'm just sorry! I'm sorry that my love wasn't enough to keep yours."
Ethan lay there on his knees in front of Jared who was just standing there. Ethan didn't make a sound and neither did Jared.
"Ethan..."
Ethan shook his head.
"Ethan! Listen to me!"
Ethan shook his head.
"Ethan please baby!...
Wake up!"
The End? (Idk...)
