CHAPTER ONE: COMMENCEMENT
In the year 800, a boy named Alistair will break the history. With the age of 15, this son of Arthur will become a formidable king.
Githa Present Year 796
The sun almost sets in the land of Githa and everyone is busy preparing for CLIERFY, the gathering of Royals and their heirs of Lineages to present their accordance to the peace treaty.
I'm lying on my bed, and thinking what the elders been afraid of--everytime the war was mentioned before them.
With obscure reasons the war that took place in the year 396 were not fully listed and narrated in any books, scrolls or parchments. It is called the dark age of Githa. Witnesses said it is the most bloody war.
Different narrations and tales began to loomed. Which put the strongest and wealthiest Kingdom Amos, the Lineage where I belong in risk.
The Kingdom's Councilor says this even shaked and changed the flow of everything. The Lineages, the races and the families who keep the balance of united kingdoms fell.
Inorder to control the people's raging unsettlement, a great philosopher suggested to the King to punished anyone who will utter that war. Worst, even talking about this dark passage on our history is strictly prohibited. Falsehood, doubtful or maybe truthful. But one thing is clear for me that is—this information were locked to conceal a deep secret or even to avoid greater danger and possible threat on the lineages.
I don't have any concrete knowledge about the missing history. Digging what happened on that time seems impossible to be known.
"Thug-thug!" a fast hammer like sound strikes my door succeeded by a clank sound.
I heard my door was opened from the outside. "Don't you have any respect?" I yelled with panic.
"Please excuse my action your highness."
I halt from writing then closed my journal. I put all my researches about the Dark Age of Githa in a box and hid it quickly under my bed.
"Dammit!" I wiped a sweat on my forehead and exhausts a troubled breathe. "That was close..." Hiding it is the best thing that I could do. What I'm doing is treason. I'm betraying the law. I'm doing a crime of disloyalty on my own country.
I walked going to the door but before I opened it. I saw myself on the mirror on the left side of my bed.
A fine looking Prince at the age of eleven with the height of 4'3 stood with Grace. It is my reflection. A clothing that is grand.
White long sleeves is my top. My cloak were embellished in the tint of red. It covers my whole back alongside with my arms. Obviously, to depict my high elevated status
And, on the bottom, I'm wearing black leggings and red trousers.
The status of a Crown Prince is based in the degree of embellishments used on the cloak and tunic. Typically, the tunic of a prince is plain red but for me as the Crown Prince, my cloak and tunic is carried in gold lacework and rich embroidery.
The lifestyle I've been living for a decade and one. I know, someday I will be a king. A strong and undefeatable king like my father.
I exhaled a deep air to gather myself then open the door to see who calls me.
