Jaiden was on the rim of the porch steps. She was admiring the forenoon condensation. Worryingly, Pencil was checking to find Jaiden, even though she could not find her in the house, she was not expecting to see her right in the back-yard. Jaiden was soaking wet by the time, so pencil brought her in to dry off, while Jaiden was away, Pencil checked the back-yard, finding a small, black salamander with yellow spots under a rock. Pencil slowly got the salamander free, taking it inside the house. By the time she was in, Jaiden was in the kitchen. Sitting at the table, doing nothing. Pencil put the salamander on the table, "what is that? "Jaiden, full of curiosity, asked. "A sparse salamander." Jaiden and pencil looked at the small amphibian for a couple of minutes. They did not figure out what to do with it, it was hurt, so of course, they could not just release it like that. They decided to take care of it until it was fully recovered. They where about to release it a couple days later. But, it just wouldn't go, after about a year of having him, he passed away. It was sad for them, but they where glad they got the chance to meet him.
