Prologue

"Marienette sweetheart can I talk with you ."

"Yes mama?"

"Well you see I have been talking to a cousin of mine in China, and I ended talking about you and your father. She was more interested in you because of your talent for fashion. I told her you want to be a designer."

"Mama were you bragging again?"

"You're my only daughter why shouldn't I? Anyway it was just because of that, she wanted to know about you because she's also a designer."

"Wow this the first time you ever told me about this cousin, what's her name mama?"

"It's Yvette, Yvette Jiang."

"What?! Mama you're telling me that your cousin is Yvette?! Jiang clothing line?! That designer?! She's up there like Mister Agrest. Maybe world wide!! Why have you never told me?!"

"Because you would freak out like now. She asked me to tell you, how would you like to become her student?"

"Huh?! Wha-Ba!?!"

"Easy, breathe."

"That's what she said? But why me? I mean it's not like she seen any of my work, or sketches?"

"I might have send a few pictures...."

"What?!"

"Look Marienette, I just want you listen and think about what I'm going to say carefully. She wants you to move in with her in China. She's willing to pay for your studies. Even the school is combined with a designer school. You will be having normal classes and design classes. After school you will be with her, she will teach you all she knows."

"But I will be away from home, from you and dad, my friends." 'Protecting the city.'

"I know, but I want you to make your dreams come true. I don't want to stand in the way of that, I'm here to support you with any decision you make. Besides you can come back home during breaks. It's not like you will be gone for ever, take this a step to learn more on what you love doing."

"Mama, is it ok if I can think about it?"

"Sure, it's a big choice to make. Let me know on what you decide."

"Girl you better take this opportunity!! Chances like this don't come along or fall from the sky."

"But Alya, we won't be seeing each other like we used to."

"Mari, I know I may sound selfish but, I want you to go stop thinking about me all the time! I want my best friend to make her dreams come true! Girl you have talent, everyone knows it! I don't want you to miss this chance just cause you want to go to same school. I want my best friend to be great on what she does, and you bet I would be the first one to buy what you make. I will be proud to be your best friend Marionette, even now I'm proud. I don't want to hold you back."

"Thank you Alya."

"Not to mention, China?! Imagine all of the good food you can eat that you can't here! I know where I will be spending my summer vacation in the future!"

"Oh Alya."

"You know if you don't confess to Adrien now, you can become his designer in the future."

"A-Alya!"

"Mama?"

"Yes?"

"I want to go to China."

9 years later

The sound of a alarm clock rang from a night stand. It's noise echoing around the room, sunlight glowing between light pink curtains. The warm rays gently lighting up the room, filled with materials scattered on the floor and on a working table. A bed with soft white covers looking like a cloud started to stir. A hand shot out to the phone on the stand, shutting of the alarm off. A head with messy long strands of midnight blue hair surfaced.

The owner of that said head grunted before flopping her head back down to her soft pillow. With one more big sigh white covers flew of the bed revealing a beautiful girl around her early 20's. Long strands of hair sticking out, realization seating in and her blue eyes looking around in panic. "The flight! I almost forgot is today." She looked over to the corner of her room to see her luggage ready to go. She gave a big sigh of relief. "Good thing I did the packing yesterday. I'm so excited to finally head back."

Didn't think I was going to make a Miraculous ladybug Fan Fic right? Well neither did I lol. Just suddenly happen from one day to another. Yes I am fan of this show!
Ok ok let's discuss the elephant in the room. Yes I was gone for a good amount of time. That's cause I been working on my stories that I currently have. I have not been completely away, just working on chapters. Also working on new stories, as you can see with this one.
