Alone

SCHOOL

Jessica sat in her room and looked around, her alarm clock had fallen off the table. She quickly ran over and put it up and adjusted it to the perfect position.  There. Just perfect...''Jessica Parker! Is it me or do you want to be late for school?!'' called her mother from downstairs.
''Yes sorry Mum,'' Jessica shouted back only just realising that it was a school day. Oh no. Not school, she'll have to live through yet another day of frequent bulling by that horrible Isadora White. Isadora White...she was the most flashy student of Maple wood High. The one who bullied anyone who got in her way. She was such a teachers pet. Jessica pulled on her clothes and tie and ran downstairs. She grabbed a piece of toast and ran out and started her daily walk to school...

''Jess! How are ya'?'' Annabelle Green called running to Jessica exitedly,  ''How's Duskie boy?''
Annabelle was Jessica's friend...well only friend. Jessica was a weirdo to most students. ''He's great thanks! Being a really sweet boy yesterday!'' Jess took out her phone and showed Annabelle a picture of Dusk looking cheekily out from under his cute, black forelock. ''Awe so cute, come on we'll be late for class! Okay see you later!!'' Unfortunately, Annabelle was in another class away from hers. They both hurried off in opposite directions and disappeared out of sight...
Jess sat down on her usual seat at the back of the class avoiding anyone else's horrible glances. Especially Isadora White's.  She sat, as usual, at the front of the class. Her perfect blonde hair draped down on the chair back. Around her were seated her followers. They acted like her minions. They were always controlled and sometimes didn't even have a choice. Jess sometimes felt sad for them except when they bullied her. The teacher was late today and the students were unaccompanied in the class. Isadora suddenly turned around, ''Oi horsie bum'' she sniggered, ''Is that some horse poo in your hair?''
Jessica felt around her hair.
''Haha loser!!!'' Isadora said and swiveled around just in time before the teacher entered.

The rest of the day passed in a hurry. Maths, English, Science and so on.Jess walked home alone and night fell over the world. That night is when everything started...
