"Ben! Ben!"
It was dark and empty, that place.
"Ben, you need to listen to me."
All he saw was a figure of an old man, He didn't know who.
"Ben, the force is falling apart."
He was confused and the gears on his mind were trying to figure who it was but to no avail.
-until it clicked.
"G-grandfather?"
The figure smiled and nodded. He reached out an arm towards the figure, his grandfather, only for it to past through the hollow flesh. However, his grandfather suddenly grabs his elbows and matched their gaze.
"Ben, The force is getting more unstable as time passes by"
"You need to restore balance, Ben."
Ben eyes widened in confusion and surprise. His grandfather was spouting unsettling words he didn't comprehend.
"I-i don't understand, grandfather."
"W-what do you mean?'
He'd hope that his grandfather would enlighten him or even just tell him a few comforting words. He was getting a bit freaked out, not that he'd admit to anyone.
"Ben, let go of the light and accept the darkness."
What?
" I know that you felt torn apart, that every day there's this voice that keeps forcing you to do bad things. Listen to that voice, Ben!"
Grandfather? What are you saying?
"This is for the survival of the galaxy, Ben. If you submit, within time your counterpart in the light will grow and the balance will prevail"
Ben didn't want to listen to his grandfather. He didn't want to go to the Darkside. What of his mother? His father? They'll get worried or even worse, they'll be disappointed in him.
"B-but grandfather my fami-"
"They'll understand Ben, It's for the greater good"
"Please Ben, I have little time left but please listen to me"
The hollow figure of his grandfather started to disappear. Ben panicked and tried to hold him back. His hands only went through the projection.
"G-grandfather w-wait"
Ben suddenly woke up, still disturbed and perturbed, he disgested the familiar sight of the environment of the hut he slept at. He was going to try going back to sleep. Until he felt a hostile aura heading his way. He feigned sleepiness and waited only to hear a familiar hissing sound of a lightsaber. His eyes widened and his heartbeat quicken. He felt the lightsaber coming down at him. His instinct was to dodge but then he remembered his disturbing dream. Maybe his grandfather was right. He was the chosen one. Ben decided it was the perfect time to execute his grandfather wishes.
He quickly turned around his back and light up his lightsaber. His whole demeanor changed when he saw that it was his uncle who opened the saber. Maybe, it won't be as hard after all grandfather. After all, it's for the greater good right?
That night a whole village was massacred with its nearby Jedi temple, marking a black time in the Jedi history. Almost no one survived and the place was burned to ashes. All that came out of the attack was a group of unfamiliar people that was later dubbed as the Knights of Ren who'd be known as the galaxies fearest villains that bring despair and chaos wherever they go and the one leading them? Oh boy, He was the worst one out of them all.
