This is my first actually story so feel free to give me feedback.
"We're moving, Rosah go pack your bags. We're leaving in ten minutes." Rosah was shocked at the sudden announcement her mother had made.
"But mom, school is starting tomorrow and I need my rest." She complained.
"Oh, about that. You'll be doing online schooling because there aren't schools where we're moving." Her mother said while packing up the silverware. Rosah slowly began walking to her room to pack her bags.
*After packing*
Rosah left her room with her bags to see a moving van and her mother dragging a bag of clothing into the car.
"Oh, Rosah go ahead and put your clothes in the car and everything else in the moving truck."
As her mom goes into the house to get more boxes and bags, Rosah quickly put her things in their respective places, sat on the curb, and began listening to music on her phone. She watched as cars drove by, counting them as they went. This is one of her favorite pass times.
At one point she started spacing out, only coming back to reality by her mother.
"Rosah, come get in the car if you're done packing and loading." Rosah got in the car once she got all her things where they needed to be and they we're off.
"Mom, why are we moving?" Rosah asked in confusion.
"Well, you've been getting bullied a lot lately and my new job doesn't require me to live in a certain area so it was just a good time to move. Don't you think?" Her mother almost seemed scared to see her reaction so she just shrugged and looked out the window.
*Three hours of driving later*
As the new house approaches, Rosah's mom woke her up to show her the new house.
"Sweetie we're here, take a look at your new home."
It was a large house with old fashioned door frames, windowsills, and structural design. It also had a huge stained glass window that looked like a dragon with flowers on it's wings while being surrounded by a beautiful forest.
They enter the house and look at the different rooms. First they come across the living room that's already fully furnished. It had an antique chandelier that was silver with large glass beads going from the rim to the center. There was a fireplace made of brick, a couch and chair set, and a fancy looking coffee table.
Next, they go to the kitchen; still fully furnished. An old but still sturdy table to eat on, working stove, oven and fridge/freezer, and little hanging lights. In the corner was a cabinet for dishes and some other cabinets for groceries.
Soon enough, they had explored the house entirely. They look at their phones for the time.
"We should get going to bed Rosah. It's already 11:08 at night." Rosah's mom explained with a yawn.
"Ok. Well, goodnight then." Rosah said
"Goodnight."
And with that, they went to sleep.
