Sweat beating down her skull, Emily buried her face into the rags. Trying to remain as still as possible; Muffling her rhythmic heaving breathing as she heard the double doors at the end of the hall open.
Click. Clack. Click. Drip. Drop.
She whimpered as she felt an ominous presence enter the room. Whatever this thing was; It wasn't human. Emily listened, biting her lip to silence her whimpers until she felt a cool metallic taste in her mouth. Ruby red blood slowly fell down her delicate face down to her small chin. She saw a shadow through the crack in the door stopping dead in its tracks.
"You can come out now, Emily"
