i looked at you from across the classroom back in high school and thought about tough and bad ass you looked. then after days of cold stares and the silent treatment you admitted to me you a chosen mute and that you chose not to talk to anyone because of how you look. by look you meant the whole rough and tough thing. you got into fights and refused my help to clean you every time. to the past i say thank you, to the future i say bring it on. today we got married and tomorrow when i wake up i'll smile at the face of the man i'll call husband.
