-Third Person POV-

Ritsu Kageyama was in the privacy of his own room.

The young boy had his book in his hands as he flipped the pages faster than he could blink. He was talented when it came to intelligence, that was for sure. He was happy to have psychic powers, but it never came to the levels of his brother, but that was alright with him. But other then that, he was...normal, to say the least. His room was simple. Neat and tidy, like that of any other mid-class middle schooler. He leaned back against the pillows behind him and let out quite a long sigh. Other than his brother and a couple other people, Ritsu didn't have many friends. People he can actually talk to, and be happy to see everyday. It's almost his birthday. Maybe he can wish for a friend. Someone. Anyone. Perhaps someone he can consider...more than a friend.

And just like that, a faint doorbell was heard.

The 13-yeared-old dragged himself out of bed and down the stairs until he reached the front door. He turned the doorknob and watched as the door swung open at the pull of his arm. His eyes widened sligtly when he saw who was at the door. A boy his age. Orange hair. Blue eyes. And the iconic green sports jacket. Could it be?

'Did you send him to me?' Ritsu thought, looking at the sky.

"Suzuki...why are you here?"

"Oh , you know. I'm bored. I had no one else to talk to so, came over here."

"..."

"I can...leave if you want." He offered, seeing the dark cloud of black that covered the top half of Ritsu's face. Was he that cautious?

"Fine. But you better not pretend to burn down my house or something." Ritsu prevailed, knowing this possibly might be the only chance he has to make his temporary birthday wish come true. He sighed and headed to his room.

Shou followed him all the way up the stairs and into Ritsu's room. He took over the bed and forced Ritsu onto his desk chair.

"Now , WHY are you here? I don't believe your 'visiting' excuse for one second." Ritsu taunted, getting out of his chair.

-Shou's POV-

"Okay, fine, fine. I was here to tell you something." I said timidly.

"Tell me what? That you're about to burn my house down again?" He replied, in quite a harsh manner.

Damn it, Kageyama. Stop making this hard for me.

"Ritsu , is it alright if...I..I.." I blabbed like a complete fucking idiot.

"If you...?"

If I like you. Just fucking say it...

"If...you and I...n-nevermind." I cut myself off. Again.

Ritsu gave me a weirded-out look, but luckily didn't question anything.

"So...while you're here...there's this park that recently just opened by the lake. I guess I can go as long as we return before dinne- Suzuki? Hello?"

I snapped out of my thoughts.

Calm down, Shou. Just hanging out at the park. Nothing more.

"S-Sure, then...if that's what you want, Kageyama."

He then looked at me in precaution, "Are you planning something?"

"H-ha...no. I'm not. Do- Let's j-just go, already." I grabbed Ritsu's arm and pulled him down the stairs and out of the house.
