Lonely nights, oh lonely nights
Sitting on the roof at midnight
Looking at the stars and planets
Oh, how everything just feel alright
Some people find it to be a pity
They think I must feel lonely
So they try to put me in their box of society
Which makes me feel like an alien in their world
Here I can see the beauty of Venus
The aggresive nature of Mars
The blue sky surrounding Uranus
The breaking waves on Neptune
And the face of the man on the Moon
The stars are my hiding place
Though I have nothing to hide here in space
Where I don't need to waste a single breathe
As only me knows the way throught this bright maze
All my life I have felt like an astronaut
And I will continue to search for my goal until then
Trying to hold my head cold, even when I don't know when
As time here in many ways doesn't work like on Earth
They think I must be crazy
But I just tell them to look up and see it's beauty
Up there I feel free from all kind of boundary
The lack of loud noises calms me
Life there goes fast like the speed of light
