It was a warm evening, the spring slowly turned to summer, it was getting warmer and the night got shorter with each day. On a lonely street was a car driving, a black one, probaly a family car. The calm atmosphere was even on this street, the family inside the car was a classic American family, or so it seems like.
Ryan Harrison was the driver, the businessman has black hair and a rather young face for a 43 year old, but he has deep dark circles under his grey eyes. He was tired, but that was nothing new to him, his insomnia always keept him up.
Next him was his wife Donna, the 40 year florists has orange hair and blue eyes, a young and charming lady that always had a smile.
Behind Ryan was his first child, his daughter Lisa. She wasn't really that what he hoped she would be, she had a rather large bust for a 17 year old, long blond dyed hair and dark brown eyes.
She was the classic teen, always on her phone, many guys around her fingers and was rather popular.
Next to her was her 8 year brother David, he had light brown hair and deep green eyes, a smile was on his face as he looked out the window.
"Why do I need to move too? I'm 17 and can take care of me!" Lisa complained, she never liked the thought of living in a village, she wanted to be a party girl, always in town to drink and dance.
Donna turned to her, "Sweetie I told you, you're still too young and I don't trust your boyfriend"
"Excuse me?!" Lisa nearly shouted, she thought her boyfriend was perfect for the family, 23, biker and had some drug problems but he was rather handsome and a "Badboy".
"He is a perfect fit! And also, he can take me harder then a-" Lisa was cut off by Ryan's tired yet annoyed voice.
"Lisa. Not infront of David, also we brought the house already, we won't drive back now." Some whining was heared, "God dammit I hate you Dad!!"
Lisa crossed her arms and turned to the window.
David didn't understand why she was like this, he always wanted to live outside the loud and rushing city plus it was for his father's health, since the doctor told him to have some space from the city. Even tho David was young he was rather smart for his age, while others still believed that clouds are made of cotton candy, he knew they can't be touched since they are only steam.
Lisa was still complaining and Ryan got more and more annoyed, but as they drove near the forest the atmosphere changed immediately, it was calm yet everyone was tense and it was rather cool, soft fog was near. It was silent, David saw deep in the forest, for a split second he thought that he saw a woman that looked in his eyes. Yet as soon as they drove away from the forest everything was like before, but it was still silent.
"... Heh... seems like we all respect the forest and it's power" laughter Donna nervously.
'Yeah... it's power' thought David as his smile faded while he looked out of the window, the strange woman still in his mind.
