Jay's Girl (Jason Todd/ Redhood x Batfamily x reader) [COMPLETED]

Field trip

We walked downstairs as sneakily as possible only to find aunt Cass in the kitchen, I quickly shoved Jason behind a wall before she could see him

"Jason Peter Todd, fancy seeing you here the last time I saw you sneaking around it was in the streets of Gotham and you wearing A bright yellow Robin costume" she said not even looking up from the pan.

Jason cursed under his breath then came out from behind the wall." nice to see you again Officer l/n" he said, "wait, officer?" I questioned " well way back then I was a Gotham City police officer and also helped Batman from time to time which led me to discover their identities" aunt Cassy said platting up some eggs.

My Aunt was a cop? and knows the batboys identities how come she never told me? did she not trust me? I stayed quiet lost in my thoughts as I watched aunt Cass butter toast and put it on plates, my thoughts kept rambling around my head question upon question.

But I was pulled out of my thoughts by Jay lacing his fingers with mine and squeezing my hand. I looked up at him to see I'm sorry written all over his expression, from his eyes to the way he held himself up, our moment was interrupted by aunt Cass " come eat you've only got a few minutes before you need to head out"

She put the plates on the table with a fork and some orange juice. We silently made our way to the table and ate, not a single word was spoken the whole time we ate

about 10 minutes later Jay and I were done eating he got up and grabbed his backpack along with my helmet and leather jacket "come on babe we're gonna be late" he said putting a hand on my shoulder "k" I replied in monotone " I won't be back tonight I'm staying at Jason's, his family invited me over for movie night " I said still in a monotone voice as I walked to the door Jay handed me my helmet and jacket

"ok, well let me know when you get to and back from Central city and have fun! I love you!" she said in a fake happy voice. I didn't even look back I just waved my hand and closed the door Jay got on his bike and revved the engine I put my helmet on the slipped on my jacket, we recently got coms put in our helmets so we can talk on our way to school or dates

"have I ever told you that you look hot in that jacket?" he said over the coms with smirk "no but you can call me hot whenever you want" I smirked back getting on his bike he just laughed. I put my arms around his middle then he took off, I watched as houses and buildings zoom by as we raced to school 

" you wanna talk about it?" Talk about the fact that my aunt was a cop AND she knew your identities this whole time and never told me about it" I said a little irritated "are you mad at me?" why would I be mad at you? it wasn't your secret to tell" I reassured hugging his middle tightly.

Jay just sighed a sigh of relief, I wasn't mad at him it wasn't his secret to tell I just wish aunt Cassy told me about the whole cop thing I wonder why she didn't tell me about it? my thoughts were interrupted because we had just made it to school as the others were filing into the bus.

Jay and I basically threw off our helmets and ran to the bus to luckily hop on right before they left, we took our seats at the back of the bus I got the window seat, of course. The bus started moving and now we're off to Central city.

I had forgotten how tired I was till I was sitting still I yawned as I looked out the window " babe" Jay said caringly, I hummed then looked his direction "you look exhausted how about you take a nap on the way there?" I'm good" I yawned " you stayed up way too late last night patching me up," he said then he leaned closer to where I could feel his hot breath on my left ear " and it's not like we can make out or anything" he smirked.

I felt heat rising in my cheeks at his comment "just wake me when we get there" I said through a yawn he just responded with a will do but I was already drifting to sleep on his shoulder.

A few hours later at S.T.A.R labs, third pov...

The GA school bus pulled up in front S.T.A.R labs where the first particle accelerator exploded. Everyone was making their way off the bus but y/n was still asleep

" hey, y/n wake up" Jason said shaking her trying to wake his girlfriend up.

Then he had an idea, he got close to her ear and whispered "I guess I'll just leave you here and we won't be continuing what we were doing last night tonight", at that y/n shot straight up and glared at him

" that's supposed to be my weapon" she pouted " oh don't be a baby" Jason teased, y/n's glare intensified at his remark. Jason just laughed and grabbed y/n's hand and dragged her out of the bus to catch up with the group, they raced towards the entrance only to find a crowd of reporters trying to get in

"come on we'll find another way in" Jason said leading y/n away from the reporters. There was no doubt if the reporters saw the adoptive son of Bruce Wayne with a girl, they'd want the scoop. The two love birds raced away from the reporters and found a side entrance to the building and tried to find their way back to the group.

Then they heard a voice through a microphone "I'm Barry Allen and with the help of my team and coworkers we finally rebuilt the accelerator which will hopefully lead to clean energy for the city and someday the world" they followed the voice to find the room where the group was.

Mr. Allen was explaining the science behind it and no one except Tim was understanding it, y/n dug through her pockets looking for her phone so she could text her aunt letting her know that she had gotten to the city safely but she couldn't find it "crap" y/n mumbled under her breath Jason looked at her " because you dragged me out of the bus I forgot my phone on my seat and I need to text aunt Cass, I'm gonna go get it" she said about to walk away

"k, well hurry I think their about to turn it on" Jason said. y/n gave a thumbs up and started running to the side entrance they came in.
