For My Pretty Butterfly
A Love Poem by Anon Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
A thing is pretty,
And so are you.

Orchids are white,
Ghost ones are rare,
The line is wavy,
And so is your hair.

Magnolia grows,
With buds like eggs,
My complexion is tanned,
And so are your legs.

Sunflowers reach,
Up to the skies,
Americans are black,
And so are your eyes.

Foxgloves in hedges,
Surround the farms,
Faces are tanned,
And so are your arms.

Daisies are pretty,
Daffies have style,
Your study is illuminating,
And so is your smile.

A butterfly is beautiful,
Just like you.
