My body shakes violently, not letting me control what I do.
"make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, make it stop, MAKE IT STOOOOP!!!"
YOUR NOTHING BUT A FUCKING FAILURE, TO YOU, YOUR FRIENDS, YOUR FAMILY, THE WORLD; KILL YOURSELF AND EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY AND NOT GIVE A FUCK
Roxy grips my hands and holds on to me, pulling me into her shoulder.
"It's gonna be okay, don't listen to them. They don't know you, they aren't real."
"Then why do their words hurt so much, why does it feel all so REAL!" I cling to Roxy tight like she was the only thing holding me together at this point, which she pretty much is.
"Why won't they just go away..?" I start to cry in her shoulder, gripping her sleeve thinking if I let go I'll fall into the black. Roxy kisses the top of my head, trying to comfort me.
IN TIME EVEN SHE'LL LEAVE YOU, YOU MEAN NOTHING TO ANYONE!
I start to not hear what should be reality now I'm hearing just mumbles of the real world and hearing more of the voices; rage through my mind.
"Alex, look at me, ALEX!"
I look up into Roxy's eyes, I see her tearing up, the voices stop and now all my mind is focusing on is drying her tears. I wipe them away and softly kiss her head
"I'm okay...for now."
I hug her even tighter than before. She hugs tight and grips my shirt,
"Don't scare me like that!" Her voice weak in the sentence.
"I'm sorry Roxy. C'mon let's get something to eat and try to forget about the voices."
Roxy smiles and nods.
"Okay."
