My parents hug me tightly with tears in their eyes. "I can't believe my little boy is moving to Japan by himself!"
My mother sobs on my shoulder.
"Mum I won't be alone. Angela will be there with me, and it's not like it's the first time I've been away from home."
"I know, we'll just miss you so much!"
Although I love my parents, they smother me a lot.
"Take care if yourself, Lin," my father says as he hands me my bag.
"I know. I will." My parents hug me one last time before I rush out the door into my cab.

After hours on a plane, I finally arrive in Japan. I text Angela and ask if her plane has landed. I live in England, and she lives in the Philippines, so naturally we took different flights. She responds quickly saying she's waiting in the baggage claim. I make my way over as fast as possible. Reaching the baggage claim, I see Angela waiting for me. I sneak up behind her to scare her just like I used to. We hug lightly and do our old handshake. "I've missed you," Angela says to me.
"I've missed you, too, idiot." I smile and pick up my bag. We walk outside trying to find to find out "aunt". We see her run out of her car and pull us into a tight hug. Angela and I shoot each other with a face of pain and embarrassment. "I can't believe how you two have grown! It seems like just yesterday you were babies!" Our aunt hasn't seen us since we moved, so we aren't surprised she's so ecstatic.

The drive to our apartment is a couple hours, so we spend that time napping and reminiscing. When Angela sleeps, she might as well be dead, so most of the conversation is with our aunt, which I don't mind. Finally we get to the apartment, sluggishly drag our luggage into our rooms and sleep. We start UA High next week, so might as well relax while we can.
