The Kingdom of Fiore

The First Key

Chaos .

Complete total chaos was seen through the eyes of the small prince of Fiore as he stared into the growing flames of the village, the colors of amber and magic covering the area as if it was a warm blanket aiming to suffocate anything in his way. As he ran through the halls of his palace accompanied with his trusted friend Kol, he worried for the safety of the people, not only them but his parents as well for they had left to help the villagers from their demise with every last drop of magic in their being.

The small prince carried his stuffed animal close to his chest as Kol urged him to run faster. Soon growing annoyed, Kol carried the small prince on his back and running as fast as he could. The crackling of the fire grew louder the more they tried to escape its grasp---taking a sharp turn to the left they escaped the fire's claws and sprinted towards the lake. Kol put the small prince down, now exhausted from carrying a boy on his back. The small prince gazed into the flames overthrowing the city once more, waiting for the people close to him to come rushing out; but they never came. From then on the small prince despised the flames with every inch of his being. Kol glanced at the small prince and hugged him closely, he glanced down to see the prince holding a key. He crouched down and asked quietly "Hey Akira? What's that?"

The small prince looked up at Kol and murmured quietly "a key mom gave me"

Kol stared at the key once more, its golden plated flower gave a glimmer due to the illuminating flames. The first key.

Some people will say it was a legend, but some people believed the legend and it's secrets closely to their heart. Here is the story they know: when their world was created the Five Kingdoms were made by two important flowers. The Leggero flower, tinted beautifully with shades of gold and red, known or its power over space and the Stella flower, beautifully made with different shades of purple and blue known for its power over time. With these two flowers they created harmony between the Five Kingdoms, however with the power within these two flowers the kings and queens of these kingdoms were warned to never put them together, for if they did so their kingdoms would be no more. So leaders of each kingdom were designated to hide these flowers to avoid destruction, each of them withholding a special key to one of the locks in the glass chambers the flowers were kept in, never to be disturbed or the consequences would follow.

The Five Kingdoms, Fiore the land of Flowers, Jishu the land of Technica, Ecliptica the land of eternal night, Collisto the land of earth and fire, and Qivara the land of frost, swore to live in complete harmony with each other; passing down the keys through generations hoping that peace would prosper.

Or at least, that's what everyone was told to believe.
