Everything was a haze. She blinked a few times, clearing her vision and went to move before realizing that her hands were tied. No, not tied, chained. Ant it wasn't just her hands either. There was a heavyset collar around her neck. She was exhausted and had no idea where she was. In fact, the last thing she remembered was going to bed. She groaned.

"Try no to move too much. It will only make your head spin worse."

She looked towards the sound of the voice. The woman looked like she was in her mid twenties. She, too, was wearing a collar but her hands weren't chained. She caught Misaki watching her.

"No one leaves here alive. I've long since given up on leaving here."

Misaki could hear the defeat in her voice. It wasn't long until she heard movement nearby and someone wearing a black suit and sunglasses came to get her. He took her collar off and pulled her to her feet.

He led her down the hall, the sound of her bare feet hitting the floor the only sound until she went into a room off to the side.

The sound of a roaring fire greeted her ears. She didn't realize how cold she was until the heat hit her skin. Miskai jumped slightly when she heard a book snap shut. It was then she noticed someone standing in the corner in front of a bookcase. He eyed her a moment before putting the book back on its shelf.

"You know why you're here?"

She shook her head and stayed quiet. He came over and put his nose to her ear.

"You're about to be my dinner."

Misaki shuddered and tried to jump back but he caught her and kept her from moving. At first he just ran his nose over her neck before a searing pain went through her neck and shoulder. She was unsure of what happened next, having passed out part way through. When she came to she was in the same room as before with the collar back on.

"You should come eat"

Misaki blinked a few times before she knew where she was. She went over to the other woman and started to eat from a tray that was sitting off to the side.

"How long have I been out?"

"They brought you back about an hour ago."

Misaki hummed. It was the only response she could force herself to give while she continued to eat.

This kept up for a few days. One night after he had fed she heard a commotion in the distance. At first she didn't put two and two together until she was wrapped up in a familiar scent.

"Yuliy"

Misaki couldn't bring herself to open her eyes and look at him. Not having the strength to do even that would have frustrated her normally but she was too tired to care.

When she opened her eyes she was in a bed, under a thick blanket. She turned her head; surprised by how much her entire body hurt. Yuliy was partially on the bed, out cold, with his butt still sitting in his chair.

Moving, she tried to sit up and this caused Yuliy to jump up in surprise, now fully awake. He blinked a few times before pulling her into his arms and just held her there. Misaki enjoyed it for a while before pushing him away. She found his scent a little too appetizing to ignore and he blinked at her in confusion.

"What happened to me?"

Misaki looked at him in utter confusion causing Yuliy to look away as the door opened to reveal Professor Willard and two unknown men. The taller blond one was carrying a crystal decanter and a glass. He filled the glass and put it on the beside table before moving away.
