NOTE-THIS IS A ONE CHAPTER STORY. ENJOY ;D

  Waking up is defiantly the worst part of the day, especially when you didn't get enough sleep. However, there are some things in life that over power the little voice in your head that says, 'stay in bed a little longer, please!'
  As I got up and put my glasses on, my mom called me for breakfast. My mom didn't know, but I barely ate. I just wasn't as hungry anymore.
  I through my hair up in a messy low bun, than put on my state championship basketball sweatshirt on with some jeans.
  Basketball was my passion. I was one of the best in the school, and I had worked hard for it. I still tried very hard, and made the A team for our high school girls basketball team. I must say, I'm a very good shooter and rebounder.
  I ran down the stairs while checking Snapchat on my phone and sending streaks. But, as I was walking outside, I noticed someone had DM /direct messaged/ me. It was Lucas.
  Lucas was tall, maybe around 6'5, had a long lean body, abs, he was Italian, and had light blue eyes that brightened up our school. I also had a massive crush on him, but that is not what is important at the moment. His message was.

Hey. Wanna start a streak? He texted.

I couldn't help but smile and start jumping up and down. I didn't care if I had failed all my quizzes in the last week, but this had just mad my entire month. I than walked nervously and excitedly to the bus stop and go to school. It wasn't until I was on the bus that I replied yes to Lucas though.
  I went straight to my friend, Niya, and told her everything. She may not have been my best friend, but she was defiantly a friend that could be trusted.

"I'm so excited for you! Now you can see his face on a daily basis, and more importantly, he can see yours. ;)"

   I couldn't help but start blushing and give Niya a hug. She was always there for me, even though we didn't hang out too much. I'm so glad I have her as a friend.
    Once I had gotten to my locker at school, my friends Melanie and Chloe came up to me. They were my closest friends in this school. I had been friends with them since 2nd grade!
   "I heard you and Lucas started a streak," said Chloe, smiling.
   "Yep. I was jumping up and down this morning!" I said while giggling.
Than, everything went into slow motion as I turned to my right.

I saw Lucas and his friend Dave leading all of the 'popular boys' down the hallway. Than, he looked up to me and smiled. I had never felt so happy.

  Unfortunately, that happiness didn't last forever. Behind them, came the 'popular girls'. The worst people in the school, for sure.
  There was Ella, Alice, and the worst of them all, Taylor. She is a wannabe Barbie doll. I looked away, because they always made me feel insecure about myself and how I looked.
  "Don't worry about them." Melanie reassured me. "We have basketball practice a few hours after school, so we should hit the weight room during study hall if you want. Chloe, you can come to, after all, you do play hockey.
"Ya, I should probably get to the gym sometime today because there is no practice today.
"Awesome!" said Melanie, as she got her books and headed off for class.

Than the bell rang, so I was off to science. Thank goodness I had Chloe in my class. Another advantage with science, Lucas and Dave were in my class as well. A disadvantage However, was that Ella and Alice were in my class.
  Once everyone was seated and the teacher started taking, I couldn't help but stare at Lucas. His perfect soft hair and toned skin.. t look as though he went to the gym just to impress me with the angle shots I was getting.
  I also didn't know how the teacher did not hear all the commotion in the classroom. I saw Ella and Alice taking selfies together, boys were throwing paper airplanes at each other, and a few people looked like they had fallen asleep. Than, Lucas walked in.
