First Kiss

I've never kissed someone and I don't plan on it. The only person I will kiss is my best friend. Richie Tozier. But unfortunately for me he's not gay, and why would he like me.

We were all at the quarry. Today being the first day of summer, and why not spend it at our favorite place.

Beverly and Ben we're laying on towels trying to get a tan, they have been a couple ever since freshman year, we're juniors now. While Stan and Mike were snuggling up against a rock. Bill and his new girlfriend Audra, sitting on the grass, bill attempting to braid her hair. I was sitting on a big rock and Richie was sitting next to me.

"Hey guys we're gonna go jump off the cliff wanna come?" Beverly said, hand in hand with Ben walking towards the edge.

Everyone agreed and started jumping off the cliff. Exept for me and Richie.

"Yuh gonna jump in Ed's?"

"One, don't call me that, and two yeah just let me finish this chapter." I said my eyes locked on my book.

Suddenly my book closed, I looked up to see Richie holding the book and taking my hand to bring me up off the rock.

"Reading is for loser's Eddo spaghetto."

"We are losers Rich." I said while rolling my eyes at the nickname.

"C'mon it'll be fun!" Richie said while making puppy eyes. Gosh dang those beautiful, dark, chocolatey, eyes.

"Fiiiiiiiinnnnne" I said starting to strip off my clothes.

When I got fully undressed I looked over to Richie standing at the edge of the cliff, back to the water. He then did a backflip causing a huge splash when he hit the bottom.

When he came back up he yelled for me to come down,"c'mon slow poke!" I walked over to the edge and jumped off, hitting the water causing another big splash.

When I came up I swam over to the losers all splashing each other. I sat there watching them when Richie looked at me. Looked back at the the others. Then they ALL looked at me.

I knew what was coming so I started swimming away, when I felt a pair of soft hands grip my waist and pull me back. Richard. I screamed and tried to wiggle out, but It was to late. Everyone started splashing me at once.

"AHHHHHHH STOP! STOP!" I said while trying to cover my face. After a few minutes they stopped splashing and Richie let go. Everyone kind of swam away from me and Richie, leaving us in awkward silence.

I looked down and saw a fish swimming across my leg. I yelped and flew my self into Richie's arms and wrapping my legs around his waist.

I looked up to see Richie smirking at me.

"Hey..."

"Hi..."

"You okay?"

"Yeah I just saw a fish. I'm sorry..." I said while moving to unwrap myself. But Richie pulled me back in so our faces were inches apart.

"Um Ed's...I don't know if it's a good time to tell you this, but I like you...not just like you, I mean I like you, but I like li-" I cut him off by smashing my lips to his. The kiss lingered for a few seconds longer

When I pulled back, we both smiled at each other while our foreheads were still connected.

"I like you too, Rich."

He then smiled at me. I could see in his eyes that he truly meant it and that it was no joke. Richie then leaned forward smashing our lips in a deeper kiss. Everyone started yelling and cheering for us.

We pulled away, swimming as close as we could to each other, back to the others.

"I TOLD YOU! I TOLD ALL OF YOU, HAHA Y'ALL OWE ME 20 BUCKS EACH, IMA BE A RICH WOMAN!" Bev screeched waving her hands in the air.

"You guys bet on us!" He said shaking his head, as he swam behind me. He slid his arms around my waist and rested his head on my shoulder.

"We haven't made it official, Rich."

"Well then would you Eddie kaspbrack, like to be my boyfriend, and go on a date with me on Friday?"

"Mmmmm." I said tapping my chin and turning around to wrap my legs around his waist.

"No."

"What!?" Richie said, eyes big and confused.

"I wouldn't like to. I'd love to." I said wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him, long and pationate.

"GET A ROOM!" Stan said splashing me and Richie with water.

We all laughed and enjoyed the rest of the day together.
