I remember how it all changed so suddenly it was the hottest start to autumn we'd ever seen, an endless summer as it was starting to be known for. You could tell something had changed something shifted, plants that had been healthy for years were suddenly dying, birds flew, and sang less. Sky's seemed to be getting duller and duller as time progressed.
I remember my partner and I were driving down the highway through towns when I noticed trees and suddenly changed colors to their autumn stages, sky seemed slightly bluer and it appeared as tho for even just a little everything was going back to the original cycle. How wrong I was to believe that, for in those next couple weeks everything changed so drastically..
This was the longest and hottest summer and itll probably be the last one I see if I'm not careful. Little did I know how difficult this challenge would become within so little time. If only there was a way I could've known, all the tragedy, loss, confusion and devastation it would bring...
