Your POV
Today is the day, Damon is leaving for tour. I won't see him for months and I've never felt so sad. We are currently at the airport and I'm about to say goodbye to my boyfriend.
"I'm gonna miss you" I said trying to get rid of the lump in my throat.
"I'll miss you more love" he showed me a sad smile and wrapped his arms around me for the last time.
I felt my eyes water slightly but tried to keep it in.
"I'll try call everyday, I promise" he said into my hair as he hugged me tightly.
"Thank you" I said, not wanting to let go. We stood there for a few more minutes.
"Damon, we have to get going" Graham walked over to us. I sighed and pulled away from him.
"Only a few months and you'll be back in my arms sweetheart" Damon whispered and gave my a gentle and loving goodbye kiss.
"Have fun" I said, smiling because I know this is his dream, this is what he has been working up to his whole life.
"I will, love you"
"Love you too"
I waved him goodbye then made my way to the exit. Trudging out the airport, I felt a few tears drop down my cheeks. It's only a few months, it's going to be okay. Hopefully..
