BEFORE WE BEGIN
My name is Yusuke Uno Panchi, I'm 18 years' old and I failed 6th grade a few years ago, I'm still in school in the 11th grade. Life has been really hard for me in the past but this year being a transferred student, might change my life around. My family and i just moved to America from Japan, we plan to make our lives better. well tomorrow we'll start the second quarter of my second year of English school, let's just hope nothing bad happens. After that I went to bed smiling, thinking of what's going to happen next.
I woke up the next morning to the sounds of screaming, I tried to walk out of my room to see what was going on. Right when I got to the door a man snatched me up, and the next thing I knew the man had slammed me to the floor. I then passed out, a few moments later I gained consciousness, I looked around me and saw rope tightly wrapped and tied around me and I was set up against the wall. I got up to look around the room, but when I looked forward I saw my family lying on the ground on their stomachs, tied up. They looked up at me with worried and scared faces, with tears in their eyes.
I can now see what the man's appearance is, as he walks into the room behind them.
The man was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a black jacket, and oddly a pair of sandals. He walked around the room holding a hatchet in his left hand waving it around like a loony freak. He stared at me with this insane psychotic look on his face. He seemed like he was in his mid-thirties. He started to creep me out as he laughed, it was strange, it sounded like one of those demons you would see in a horror film.
He walked right behind my sister then paused, looking down at her with the evil smile. He then raised the hatchet over his head and swung it down, I quickly closed my eyes as I heard my sister scream in pain, and when the screaming stopped I opened my eyes only to see my sister dead and her blood all over the man's hands. The sight of it made me feel sick, and not even a moment later he stabbed my brother in the top part of his skull, he dug the hatchet in further then pulled my brothers head in half. As I tried to look away hiding my face in the floor as tears ran down my face, I couldn't bare it any longer and when I thought it was over, the man grabbed me jerked my face towards my parents as they laid there crying and screaming for help. The man then set his hatchet on the ground beside him, pulled out a 45 caliber from his back pocket, aimed it at my mother and shot, I closed my eyes and heard another fire from the gun.
The man then leaned down and whispered in a deep voice, "your next". Without thinking I reached over and somehow grabbed the bloody hatchet, kicked the man away, cut myself free and after that I couldn't remember what happened. When I woke up I was lying on the floor with blood all over me, I stood up and saw the man dead on the floor, when I looked closer I found his heart inside of his mouth and a giant hole in his chest, the thing that made me want to vomit is that the heart was still trying to pulse. Then I realized the police lights outside, the next thing I knew the bust in through the door and brought me in for questioning.
A few months later
...
The police finally let me out of what I call the "crazy house" they said I was innocent, and that I could go back to society. The only thing wrong with that is I have nowhere to go, my family is dead and the rest of my family literally told the police they were too busy to take care of me, all of my friends don't even know what happened. So I guess I will try to go to my neighbors, but first I have to find my way back. That night I was jumped by some random people, and when they found out I had nothing on me they decided to beat the crap out me. So now I'm walking around with cuts all over my arms and a black swollen eye. Right now I'm just trying to cross the road to get to school. Well today will be just as bad as the last few months.
When I got to school and walked into the cafeteria, my ex decided to come up to me and hug me, telling me that she was sorry for everything and that she wanted me back. I forgave her and told her that I still wanted her, so me and her had just got back together. All my friends welcomed me back and were wondering what had happened to me, I told them what had happened to my family and what I had to go through. They looked at me and said "how in the world could you still be smiling?", and I replied "life is too short to be getting upset and mad about the things that happened in your past."
After I said that to them they all looked at me smiling and told me that they were going to look up to me that day. The rest of my day went on just as any normal day would go, well for school anyways, I'm glad things turned out different than what I expected it to be for me today. After school was even better the police found me and told me that they got me a home where I would be protected and it was right across the road from where I grew up, so that made my day even better. As the sheriff drove me to my new home, he asked if I had remembered what happened after I blacked out the day of my family's death, I told him that I didn't remember a thing and that it just felt like a dream, which most of what's been going has felt like a dream. After he dropped me off he said you take care now alright, I nodded my head and said "you too".
I walked into the house, set my stuff down and I felt like I needed to get some rest. So I walked into a room where I found a bed, I crawled into the blankets and laid in the bed and started to doze off. Then after three hours, I noticed that I couldn't sleep for some reason and that the three hours looked and seemed like only three seconds. I looked up at the ceiling and saw the shadows start to surround me and get closer, the next thing I knew I was in total darkness and it was hard to breathe, like my lungs were filled with water, I looked around starting to panic. I was trying to quickly find something anything but I couldn't escape, I was alone in some dark abyss wishing someone would just pull me out and save me.
Then old memories started to swim around me, mocking me showing me all the good and bad of my past. I started to cry and turn away as I realized that everything that happen to me was never going to change, that I couldn't get my family back. All of a sudden all of it disappeared and a light began to shine, I didn't feel cold anymore instead the warmth of the light kept me from freezing. I swam towards the light and the next thing I knew... my family was surrounding me.
A year later from the day I woke up in the hospital. Although it's been a year since the whole concussion and me being in a comma, I still have nightmares about what I saw during the time I was out. The fear still strikes me and whispers keep telling me it could happen. Besides all those thoughts my life has been pretty normal, I have a job, a girlfriend and my own house, well it's a trailer but it will do. The thing is, you never know what could happen life is full of surprises.
The next day I went to work and my boss had assigned me to work in the burn section, where we burn all the rejected products. Everything was going perfectly fine, well until after lunch. When we got back from our lunch break the machine had been ripped apart by something but we could find out what it was that could have done this much damage to the machine. We started to look all around for the problem we search for a good hour and when we were just about to give up my co-worker David found something burning inside the machine, the thing was that it didn't look human or like any normal creature that lived on this planet.
The creature was standing in the fire just staring at us with a demonic smile. It looked just like one of those demons you would see in TV shows, blood red skin horns on the top of its head and surrounded by fire, but there was one part that didn't make sense. The demon had a halo and the wings of an angel.
The demon looked at me, raised his arm and pointed at me. Then he just stood there staring at me, the next thing the demon did was say my name in a very deep and menacing tone, Yusuke... Yusuke... Yusuke! My name kept echoing throughout the whole building. My co-workers were screaming at me saying no don't go in, it's dangerous, don't listen to him he is a demon, stop you'll burn. Everything around me seems to start to disappear and go mute, I could see or hear anything but the demon in front of me calling out to me. The demon came closer to me, grabbed me then pulled me into the fire and shut the machines door shut. The next thing I knew I was engulfed into flames, then the place they all call hell came into view. Every single sinner, burning in the depths of an eternal fiery sea, I was then dropped in front of a huge door covered in thorns with the venom of snakes all over it. The giant door opened and as a flow of blood started flowing out I quickly dodged the splashes. When the rush of blood stopped I walked in through the door and an enormous kingdom made of bones, blood, and thorns stood right before my eyes, the door of the kingdom opened, and the lord of Death and the lord of the underworld (Death himself and Satan) stood in front of me.
