Rough ideas for Stryker. I probably won't write them here, but having the ideas is always nice 👌

Side note- I'm copying text I sent to a friend on Discord. This wasn't written to be a story, just explaining backstory.

I ditched the mask idea, (but still keeping it for some au purposes) but he's still a lab rat test dog. He wasnt being tortured, just tested on for shampoo products, food, medicines, etc. (Like actually testing facilities)

The red in his fur is a side effect of some medication he took. Now that he looks like that, they can't tell what medicines are toxic on him. So they moved him to the ' mutation facility' where they try to train dogs to write, speak, and repeat the English language. But this also includes body mutations. Like prosthetic limbs, tracking chips, all the good stuff.

They chose 4 dogs that had been ' contaminated ' for mutant research. 1 being Stryker, and the rest are Slay, Ripple, And diamond. (My main kids) Stryker and diamond were built to become 'flight dogs' so they can help the Air Force or just normal flight traffic. Their bone Mass was lifted, and wings were sewn into them. Only difference with Diamond and Stryker is Diamonds wings are permanently there, while Stryker can hide his inside his body.

Ripple was treated with water abilities, (basically giving him the ability to form water into a solid mass) and slay with electrical currents in her veins. Her tail had to be strong enough to gather and conduct all the electricity from the ground, so they chose a dolphin tail would be the best fit?

But his tortured part comes in play with diamond, not the scientists themselves. (Although being experimented on constantly does have its mental tolls lol)

Diamond and Stryker became lovers after awhile since they always trained together. (As they were the only flight dogs) They were together for about 2 years before they got released into the world. The scientist assumed they wouldn't live long anyway, so they let them go on a remote island located south of Hawaii.

But with the two of them they built up enough stamana and strength to fly all the way to japan clap

They lived in the more forest'y parts for awhile before having puppies ^^

However, due to all the genetic testing preformed on both dogs the pups became deathly ill. Diamond stayed with the pups while Stryker went out to get supplies, but when he returned it was too late.

Diamond and the pups had contracted an airborn disease that made them Savage. Diamond had killed two of the four pups, while the other two had died on their own. Stryk knew she was in pain, so he had to kill her.

He didn't contract the disease as his body was significantly stronger than Diamonds.
