Prologue:

"Harry stop! STOP!" I yelled. He tickled me every time I called him Harold.

"I told you not to call me Harold!" He replied, laughing his head off.

"Okay! Okay! I'll stop! Ow! Ow! You're hurting me!" I yelled in pain.

He stopped and got off of me. "Oh. Erm, sorry." He said awkwardly. "Are you okay?"

"Yeh. I think you gave me a bruise." I commented giggling.

"I am sorry." He said, as his head dropped.

Me and Harry have been friends since 2nd grade. We are both 16 now, and we know literally everything about each other. We hardly never fight, but when we do, they are big.

"It's okay." I consoled. I got up off the floor and walked over to him. He looked up at me and grinned. "Don't you dare.." I said, walking backwards slowly.

"I'm not, I'm not.." Harry assured. I walked back up to him and ruffled his hair.

"Hey, stop that! This takes time." He said, pointing to his lock of curls.

I giggled. "Okay, sure. You want something to eat?" I asked, walking up to to the fridge.

"Yes! Tickling people makes me hungry!" He stated, and winked at me when we made eye contact.

I pulled out a tupper-ware box full of leftover pizza. "This?" I ask, raising the box up.

"Yay! Pizzaaa!" Harry exclaimed, clapping his hands like a 5-year-old.

"You're so childish.." I muttered.

"I take that as a compliment." He chirped, showing his perfect, white teeth.

"Forever young,

I wanna be,

Forever young,

Do you really wanna live forever,

Forever,

Or never?" Harry started to sing.

I ignored that comment and smiled at his singing. I placed 3 pieces of pizza in the microwave for two minutes.

I started thinking about how he had to leave tomorrow for X-Factor auditions. We won't be together for a while, which is very hard for me. I know for a fact that he will pass the first stage, so I automatically think of us apart. Harry noticed me think very hard, and he looked confused.

"Caroline, are you okay?" He questioned, with worried eyes.

I shook my head. "Oh yeah, sorry.." I say, right as the microwave beeps. I tried to take it out, but the heat stung my hands.

"OW! God dammit!" I yell, dropping the plate flat on the counter.

"It's called potholders, love." Harry says sarcastically.

"Shut up, Haz." I mumbled.

He laughed and walked over to the kitchen. He opened the drawer with the potholders, and took one out. He slid the potholder under the plate, and moved it to the table. He gently set it down and pulled out my chair. "Bon appetit, ma-lady." He says, playing around.

I giggle and sit down. He pushes the chair in and sits down next to me. We eat our pizza, then sit for a while. It was kind of awkward, but I didn't mind. Harry breaks the silence.

"It sucks that I have to leave tomorrow.." Harry complained.

"I know.." I reply. I start to feel tears forming in my eyes, so I change the subject.

"I wonder if my mom is awake yet." I say, getting out of my chair.

"Stop trying to change the subject, Linnie." Harry says, walking over to me.

"Haz, I don't want to talk about it right now." I mumble, feeling the tears form again.

"Well, when are we going to be able to talk about it? I am leaving tomorrow.." He reminds me.

"I don't know Harry! I can't just get used to not seeing your face everyday." I confessed.

"Caroline, you will see my face everyday. I promise." Harry confirms. He pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but cry into his shoulder. He notices, and starts stroking my hair. I hug him tighter and take advantage to his warmth. I feel his diaphram start moving up and down. He's crying, too. "Linnie, I can't.." He cries into my hair.

"I know, Harry." I sniffle. I pull away, but not wanting to. I hear footsteps.

"Good-- well, afternoon." My mom greets, sleepily walking down the stairs. "Oh, hey Harry."

"Hey Mrs. Gregory." He greets back.

Harry's phone starts ringing. He looks at caller ID. "I have to take this.." He says, walking out the door.

He walks back in. His eyes were puffy, so he must've been crying.

"Harry, what's wrong?" I ask, walking up to him.

"I have to leave tonight, Caroline." He says, hugging me tightly. "My mom is coming to pick me up right now."

"Harry, I am going to miss you so much!" I say, as I start to bawl. I pull him into a huge, tight, bear hug.

"Linnie, stop it.. You knew it was coming sooner or later.." Harry says, stroking my hair again. I feel a tear on my head. "I can't be without you.."

We hugged for what felt like hours. I heard a honk outside. "Th-th-that's m-my ride.." Harry sniffles, letting me go. He grabs his phone, and walks out the door. I stand there for a second, but then, I start running outside.

"HARRY WAIT!" I yell, slamming the door behind. He turns around, smiling. I hug him one last time for a while. "Have fun." I demand. "Don't think about me."

"How." He replies, slowly rubbing my back.

"Just don't." I say, letting go of him. He grabs my hand, and looks straight in my eyes.

"I love you, Caroline." He says, taking a deep breathe after.

"I love you too, Haz." I say, as he lets go of my hand. He walks over to the door, and gets in the car. I just stand there, as multiple tears fall down my face. The car drives away. I see Harry turn around in the back seat, and wave. I wave back, which makes me cry even more. After about one minute of waving, he's gone. Gone for who knows how long.
