The Fallen Guardian

In the Beginning

        A long long time ago, about three and a half million years ago, a Great War was waged across the multiverse. The valiant Guardians of the multiverse have waged war on the being known as Revolgia. Revolgia was a mighty demon that, with his power, has already destroyed hundreds of universes, so many that more than half of the entire multiverse has fallen to his power. Thus the council of Guardians have realized that it is time for them to intervene and stop this threat to the existence of everything everywhere.
      The Guardians were a very powerful group of beings that have taken a blood oath to protect the multiverse from evil. They are not always allowed to intervene as many galaxies already had heroes that were able to stop evil. However in those "special" cases where the heroes are defeated, that is when the Guardians intervene to protect the galaxy. It has been this way for two million years, but that ended when Revolgia rose to power.
       Revolgia is a tyrannical being that rules all evil that has ever existed, his power is so great that he is able to destroy planets in mere seconds. All that have challenged him have fallen in moments and he wants nothing more than for all existance to be destroyed. His conquests have lead to the destruction of more than half of the multiverse, meaning he has completed more than half of his goal.
     The war was gruesome and hundreds of Guardians fell to the wrath of Revolgia. Galaxies were torn to shreds and septillion's of lives were claimed by the demon. It seemed that all hope was lost, until a challenger appeared to Revolgia. This challenger was known as Ryan.
      Ryan was the youngest in the group of guardians, only 2,520 years old, but he was also the champion of the Guardians. His pure determination to fight evil and protect others have made his training take him to numerous corners of the multiverse, learning every fighting style ever invented and how to use every weapon ever. However it wasn't until one day when he chose his weapon of choice.
            One day, without his trainers knowing, he went deep into enemy territory to study them, it was then that he came across an ancient and dark temple. This was a temple built by Revolgia to seal away an ancient and powerful weapon that had the ability to harm him. It was a sword made of the very essence of existance and thus was indestructible and able to slice through anything from a star, to a black hole. It was so sharp that it literally tears through existance. However it can only be wielded by the one it deems worthy of it. When Ryan came across this sword, he grabbed hold of the blade and, with a bright light, the blade had chosen its master.
     Upon Revolgia discovering that the blade was claimed he ordered every monster under his army, which was so huge that the numbers it reaches aren't even named, to hunt and eliminate this threat. It was that day, that Ryan stopped being just a mere warrior, he became more powerful than any other guardian and with the blades help, the war was no longer so one sided.
      It was then that Revolgia knew what he had to do, if Ryan wasn't eliminated immediately, than his conquest would be stopped, he than created a special dimension in which he would face against Ryan and end this pain in his side, once and for all. It would be a one on one fight, no interference from anyone else, he wanted to tear Ryan apart with his own claws.
        Ryan entered the dimension and he came face to face with the tyrannical beast.
Revolgia: So, you are this warrior who had the balls to take the legendary blade. I will tear you to shreds and claim your soul for myself, than torment your soul endlessly until I have wiped out all existance.
Ryan: I will stop you, and I will bring peace to the multiverse once and for all!
Thus the two did battle, their fight lasted for over a month. Ryan was fast and strong, but Revolgia was a titan compared to him, the things that saved Ryan was his training and the blade he wielded. However he soon learned that Revolgia could not be killed, however, Ryan could. Upon realizing this, Ryan felt his hope slipping away, Revolgia senses this.
Revolgia: Hahahaha, I can feel your hope fading away you puny creature. I am the destroyer of the multiverse, you are nothing!
With those words Revolgia unleaded a deadly slash that Ryan failed to avoid and his chest was cut open with three giant slash marks. The hero fell to the ground and it seemed like this was the end, if he fell, all of existance would go with him.
Ryan:.....
Revolgia: I will end this futile struggle.
Revolgia readies his ultimate attack, a soul breath that obliterates all life it touches. Ryan knee he had to do something, but what? Revolgia couldn't be killed. Than Ryan got an idea, the beast couldn't be killed, but what if...
Ryan: You will not win Revolgia.
Ryan starts to chant a forbidden spell. Light envelops around his body and Revolgia feels himself being drawn into it, shocking him enough to stop him from using his soul breath.
Ryan: If I cant kill you, than I will seal you away, using my own soul! Farewell Revolgia!
With those words, Revolgia is absorbed into Ryan's body. Ryan has fused his soul with the demons to save the remaining multiverse.
       Meanwhile all of Revolgia's minions feel their master fade away, they all retreat in fear for they have no idea what happened. The few dozen remaining guardians all cheer for they thought that they had won. Unbeknownst to them Ryan had left the special dimension, he knew that if anyone were to find out that he sealed away Revolgia in his soul everyone would be after him, so he decided to fade away, he used special magic to make it seem like he had never existed, he erased all memory of his existance to everyone that ever knew him. He had become, The Fallen Guardian.
