Jake sat in his cell with his face in his hands. Quietly he thought, remembering how he got into the mess to begin with......
Cane had gone after stretch and captured him in that stupid net, while omni-mass and wing span were under fire. Jake had tried to call out to Nathan or Ricardo but had no luck. He wasn't able to get out, and there was no way he was letting the others get caught. He yelled quickly while fire had ceased and the gunmen were reloading. He ordered them to retreat, saying he'd catch up in a minute. They had argued back and fourth and eventually his friends left, however reluctant they were......
This leading up to where Jake currently was. He had tried to tell cane that rook was bad news, but of course the man didn't listen and just dismissed it. To cane it didn't matter what the blonde said. Jake sat there not bothering to make any noise. Eventually all the 'villains' were round up and put back into their cells. After about an hour Jake began to get even more irritated. Each of his 'roommates' bored him to death talking about how they would destroy him or make his death painful. The only one not there to do so was multifarious. He had gone back to his normal human life. Jake groaned and decided to rake a nap quickly losing track of time. About another hour or so later Jake woke up to the sound of the door swooshing open or closed, most likely closed.
He looked up to reveal rook. The pink haired man was walking toward his cell. 'Great' he grunted to himself in his mind. Rook opened the cell Jake was in and grabbed the teen by his cuffs. The uncomfortable device was cramping his hands and hadn't been removed since he got there.
Rook led Jake into another room to make him an offer.
"Look stretch. You and I both know I am fully aware of yours and your little friends identities. I could easily make your faces go public. Your real faces. I could also easily find your names if I really wanted to." Rook told him.
"But you haven't." Jake said.
"Look, I'll make you a deal. You come back to working for me, I'll make up some story and in return I will make sure you and your friends identities are never found."rook offered.
"My friends would never join you, and what makes you think I want to?" Jake stated.
"I don't care about your friends. I only want you."
"Why should I? After what you did!?" Jake yelled.
"Aside from losing any freedom you may have and being hated by everyone if your identity goes public?" Rook taunted.
"Still not convinced."
"Jake you have a family right? I'm sure you wouldn't want anyone fired because of criminal relation now do you?" Rook teased.
"Wha-you know my name!?" Jake yelled again.
"You, Yes. I already knew you. The other two however are still a mystery to me. I only know their faces, not their names. I could change that..."
"No, don't! Fine you win!" Jake hissed.
"Just leave my friends and my family alone..." Jake said squeezing his eyes shut.
"There's a good Boy, I'll contact you later. Oh and make sure to watch the 5pm news tonight." Rook said pushing a button and releasing the blondes cuffs.
