Before today, life was pointless.
Useless.
A waste.
But now, I had the advantage. The upper hand. A chance, to get revenge on those who ruined my life.
I had a rough start in middle school. I faced depression, I was bullied, I didn't really have any friends.
Some people could have been friends. They weren't mean. In fact, they were nice, but that was all. A simple 'hello' in the halls, a look of pitying sympathy when I was bullied. But they didn't do anything. They just watched, "helpless". Bystanders.
In truth, they could have done something. They could have helped me. Made a difference. Stood up to those who were jerks. But they didn't. They were bystanders, and now it was too late.
They had made their mark.
And now, I was a new person. A better person. The real deal.
A lot has changed since middle school. I'm a Junior now, at Reagan High School, and I've definitely changed. For the better. I'm a new me.
A better me.
