Moving in

You had just moved to Ohio from Florida because of your dads job. (You are 15 and have blue eyes and dirty blonde hair with highlights.) As you were walking up to the house you let out a sigh, "new house, new neighbors, new school, ugh." "It'll be ok kiddo, it always is" your dad said. "Right" you roll your eyes and started up stairs. Your room was upstairs, down the hall on the right, your dads room was downstairs. Your mom and dad were split up so you were with your dad during school and with your mom in the summer and every other Christmas. The moving van came and you were unloading when your neighbors pulled into their driveway, a tall dark haired boy got out of the car and his dad you assumed. He started walking towards you guys. "Hi I'm Jeremy, and this is my dad" his dad and your dad start talking and went to the porch which left you and Jeremy alone. "Well, I am Y/N. How old are you?" You ask. "15 I'll be 16 in April, you?" "I just turned 15 in February" you say smiling. You pick up a box to take to your room. "Want help?" Jeremy asks. "Yeah, sure I guess." You say nervously. You take the boxes up to your room and send them down you let out a sigh and sit on one of the boxes. "So where are you from?" He asks. "Florida" you say shortly. "And your mom?" He asks, "strait to the point huh?" You say jokingly "uhh, I" he mumbled. "She is in Florida still, my parents split up a couple years ago now that we moved here I'm gonna spend just the summer and every other Christmas with her." You say "oh cool" he says "yup" you say standing up. "so I'm gonna go see if my dads done talking I'll be at my house if you ever need anything." He says. "Actually I have a question." You say. "Ya?" He says. "The school here, is it ok? My last school was constant bullying and being used by boys." You say "you're in 9th grade right?" He asks. "No I'm ahead, I'm in 10th" you say "oh ok I personally don't know how the boys are because I'm into girls but I would say they are alright I guess, I don't get bullied which you probably won't either but yeah." He says. "That wasn't that much help" you say laughing. "I'll give it a shot." You say letting out a sigh. "When are you signing up?" "Tomorrow." You say "so you'll start Thursday?" He asks. "Ya probably, any teachers I should request?" You say jokingly "Just request my classes, I'll help you out." He says more serious and assuring than anything you've ever heard. "Can I do that?" You ask. "I think so, if not then I can just come find you." He said smiling. "You can ride to school with me Thursday and I can show you around or I can ride with you if you want your dad to take you." He says. "I'll talk to my dad about it at dinner, speaking of it's getting late maybe we should go outside and see if their don't talking." You say. "Yeah, let's go" he says walking behind you. When you get outside your dad is unloading everything and Jeremy's dad was walking back to their house. "See ya" Jeremy says waving. "I think I'm gonna like it here." You say smiling at your dad. "I hope so" your dad says.
