It is a sunny day in June and I just got back from college and I decide to go down and spend some time at the park with my dog Abby. I haven't been to the park that I used to go to all the time as a kid and I can't wait to go back and see all the things I used to play on and remember all the memories I have had here.

I felt today is a great day to go, the weather is amazing and I can walk Abby all day long. I start walking by the playground smiling about all the memories I have of playing there with all my friends. I keep walking and walk by the old swing set that has been there since I was five, I then get to the skate park that they have recently added to the park and I see a bunch of boys skating around and as I get closer I notice someone who looks strangely familiar to me. I keep getting closer and notice that it's Austin Porter, the guy I had a crush on all of high school. I look up when he does and he smiles at me and I keep walking.

I hear someone call my name so I turn around and see Austin running towards me waving. "Hey Hailey, what are you doing back?" Austin asks catching his breath from running up to see me. " Hey Austin, I just got back from college yesterday and I am here walking Abby." He smiles and looks down at Abby. "That's great. Hey we should hang out sometime, I would love to get to know you more." "That would be amazing." I say smiling up at Austin. I have never noticed how pretty his eyes are until right now and how pretty his smile is. " So," he says smiling at me, "I need your number so we can hang out." "Oh, yea. Of course." I tell him my number as he puts it in my phone. "Great. I will text you so we can hang out." He says petting Abby on the head. "I have to catch up with my friends but I will see you around." "Okay, great to see you again Austin." I smile and walk away not being able to believe that I just gave the guy I have had a crush on since high school my phone number. I continue to walk Abby and then head back home to anxiously wait till I get to see Austin again.
