I walked to the bus stop following him. I trembled at the thought of it, I was going to a new school in a new city.
He turned and looked me then he softly smiled.
"Don't worry it'll be fine." He said with a reassuring smile as he softly rustled my hair.
"Easy for you to say Ashiya, you've always been the social one and you already had your first year here!" I replied back to my older brother as he looked down at me.
He chuckled as said with a smile, "Yeah I already had my first year here and everything was fine! Trust me sis." He says softly petting my hair.
"Fineeee." I say leaning into his touch and sitting in the bench beside the bus stop.
He smiles again and sits beside me.
We had just moved to Kyoto from Tokyo and my older brother did his first year of high school here while I stayed in Tokyo with my aunt to finish my last year of Junior High while my family settled In Kyoto for the rest of the year.
Then summer came and I moved to Kyoto with my family again and here we are at the bus stop waiting for the stupid school bus and my anxiety to kick in.
Just then I hear the engine of a bus and I look to the side as my heart starts to sink and I become more nervous.
