You and He, I and She [ON HOLD]

Chapter One

Reign's POV
'I'm so late on my first day!!' I said through my mind as I ran through the school's hallways with a slice of bread in my mouth. Today was my first day of high school and it just so happens that my alarm didn't go off and I woke up only to find out I have 20 minutes left till the bell rings.

I ran through the hallways, trying to find my classroom, and when I did, I swung open the door and everybody's heads looked right at my direction. My face turned red as I noticed their stares at me.

"You must be the new student, am I correct?" My History Teacher, Mr. Smith asked me.
I nodded and shot him a nervous smile.

"I apologize for my tardiness, Mr. Smith. I lost track of time." I said while gripping my school bag in my hands tightly. Mr. Smith smiled in assurance, "I'll let you off the hook for now, Ms. Valentine. Take a seat anywhere you like."
He said as he went back to face the board.

I took a seat at the far corner of the room and let the time pass by until it was lunch time.
I looked around for a seat in the cafeteria until I found a table with just two girls sitting there, I walked up to them and asked,

"Mind if I join you two?" They both smiled and the one with brunette hair said, "not at all, new girl!" I took a seat across from them and stared eating my lunch.

"I'm Janine and the blonde here right next to me is Karina." Janine said as Karina waved at me, "I'm Reign." We talked and talked until we heard the cafeteria doors open, revealing four boys which I could tell are Seniors. As they walked through the door, girls would give them seductive glances and the boy giving them snickers.

"There they are again" said Janine while taking a bite on her apple, "Always the same." Sighed Karin. I didn't quite hear their comments cause I kept looking at a particular boy with light brown eyes and brown hair. Something about him just seems interesting to me somehow. Janine noticed me staring at the guy and said, "That's Harry. Him and his friends are the in the basketball team, him being the captain." She explained.

"Ah, that's why the girls are being flirty when he passed by." I said while eating my sandwhich. Harry and his friends went to the table in the corner of the cafeteria and started eating their lunches.

"Nobody knows him that well, only his friends. He's always so cold and silent." Karina said while looking through her phone.

"Mysterious..." I trailed off while Janine and Karina kept talking about which class they're in next.

The bell rang indicating that lunch was over. I stood up to grab my things then head to my next class. I walked through the hallways which were full of students, I kept trying not to bump into one of them until I accidentaly bumped into a red headed girl, dropping my books in the process.

"Watch where you're going, new girl!" The red head spat as she walked away from me. I went to pick up my books from the ground until I noticed a hand grabbing one of my books and handing it to me, I look up and saw that it was the boy who is named Harry who picked up my book.

"T-Thanks..." I stuttered as I took the book from his hands. He smiled at me and shook his head.

"It's no big deal. Always glad to help." He stood up and held out his hands, I took it and stood up to my feet. "My name's Harry," He introduced, "What about yours?" He asked.

"Reign, Reign Valentine." I answered as I hugged my books to my chest. He smiled as he bent down to pick up my bag.

"Pretty name for a pretty girl." He chuckled as he hand me my bag. I blushed at his comment and slung my bag over my shoulder.

"T-Thanks, Harry" I muttered quietly. He looked at his wrist watch and sighed.

"We're gonna be late for class, I'll take you to your classroom." He smile and slung an arm over my shoulders.

"Do you even know where my class is?" I laugh softly as he froze, realizing that he didn't know. He chuckled nervously and scratched the back of his head. I laughed and told him my next class which was Math.

"Oh! I used to be in that class when I was in first grade!" He said as he led me through the hallways to the direction to my next class.

As we were walking I kept thinking about how nice he is to me. Then I remembered what Janina and Karina said.

'He's too mysterious and is very, very silent'

But the Harry I am with right now is very, very talkative and cheery. I don't get it at all. I was still lost in my thoughts as we continued our journey down the hallway.

We finally arrived and we stopped in front of the door.

"Here we are! I'll see you around then, Reign. I'm gonna be late, being a Senior isn't that easy, ya know?" He chuckled softly and waved at me before walking away.

I stared at him as he walked up the stairs to his class and I thought..

'See you around then, Harry.'

Classes were finally over for the day and I packed my things and went out of the classroom.

My apartment isn't that far from school, so I just walk home everyday. As I was walking I couldn't stop thinking about him, Harry. There's just something about him that I was attracted to and I don't know why. I shook my head and continued walking in peace.

I finally reached home and opened the door, taking off my shoes and dropping my bag in the sofa. I walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water to replenish myself.

I walked up to my bedroom and opened the door. I walked through my dresser and took out a pair of PJs. I slip out of my school uniform and change into Pajamas.

I walked back downstairs to the kitchen to prepare myself dinner. I took out whatever I saw on the fridge and began cooking, humming a random song in the process. After I finish cooking, I set it aside to cool off while I set up the table.

I began eating while doing my homework at the same time.

After that I head back to my bedroom to brush my teeth and wash my face before I head to bed.

I climbed into bed and pulled the covers on me, sighing. I looked up at the ceiling and thought of Harry all over again.

'Harry..'

I kepy thinking of him till my eyes got tired and I fell into a peaceful slumber.
