'Shit shit shit' raced through his mind as he sprinted through the dirty back alleys, away from the people who would defiantly beat the crap out of him if they managed to catch him. As to why they were chasing him: money. Hey, Gucci didn't come for free. Sadly, he was now broke and in debt. Again.
'Fuck!' A dead end. He slowly turned around, and, as expected, the group of men were surrounding him, like a pack of wolves hunting their prey. Hui spat out a laugh as they pounced on him.
...
"Ouch."
"What's wrong?"
"Ahh, ow" He slid into the bar stool next to the naive girl at the bar, rubbing his shoulder. "I saw a woman get her purse stolen off her by some thief, so of course I chased after him, but when I ran after him into an alley, he had a gang of friends with him and they beat me up! I managed to get her purse back for her, but they took my wallet! And now I have no money for a place to stay tonight. I don't want to sleep in the cold again.." He let his head fall, and sighed deeply. The girl looked sympathetically at him. "I'm so sorry. Here, have this." She handed him a fifty. "Oh no, you don't have to, I'm fine-"
"No, I insist, please."
"Wow, thank you so much!" He smirked as he walked out of the bar. Just as he'd hoped. Hey, he needed it! Hui wasn't lying when he said his money was stolen! Okay, maybe it wasn't HIS money, but he was still poor regardless, and everyone needs money.
Hui deciding to visit just one more bar in the hope he could gain extra cash. As he walked into the crowded bar, he spotted car keys and a purse that looked full, next to two girls sitting at the bar. He ran up behind them, slinging his arms over their shoulders. "Hey ladies, wanna go out for a drink?"
"Ew, get off you creep!" one of the girls said, shoving his arm of her. "Aw, okay, maybe next time?" He said as he backed away, keys in hand and hoping they'd say no.
....
"Where are you." He quietly whisper to himself. Hui had gone to the nearest car park, and was now trying to find the car the keys he had stolen would unlock. It was proving to be extremely difficult, and reminded him why he generally didn't steal cars.
After what seemed like hours, although it was probably only a few minutes, a beeping noise informed him he had found the car. It was white, and a good size too, though not big or flashy enough to really stand out. This was a good thing though, since if it had been something like a bright red sports car it would likely have been easily found by the police.
Quickly, he unlocked the door, slid into the car, and drove away.
