Backstory: She was born in Glasgow, Scotland and lived in an orphanage for the first 5 years of her life because her parents both died in a fire a few months after she was born. (She was in daycare at the time) At the age of 6, she was adopted by the McClains who were visiting distant family in Scotland. She then spent most of her life in Cuba with her new family. She learned about the Galaxy Garrison from her older brother, Lance, and wanted to go with him, but couldn't because she's a girl. So, she bought a short wig and studied hard and ended up getting into the Garrison with him. She ended up becoming good friends with Pidge and was the first to learn about her secret before anyone else did. She also became the Purple Paladin of Voltron, however, her lion was lost 10,000 years prior when Altea was destroyed. So, she ended up tagging along in Pidge's lion whenever they had missions. She found out she was half galra when she followed Keith secretly to the blade and tried to touch it out of curiosity, and she was able to hold it.
