This is my thought on life.
We are born into this world and our parents take care of us. All we do is eat, sleep, cry, and play. Now we are 5 years old. Time for kindergarten. Now we have to wake up at 6 in the morning every weekday and go to school to learn and come home at 3. Now on to middle school. It is the same thing over again just like elementary. But now, everything you learn, it is there until the day of the test and then it's gone. Now graduation of 8th grade. You think that high school is different. Don't have to ask to go to the bathroom. Don't have to walk in a straight line like you have been for 9 years. But it's not that much different.
High school year. Once again. Wake up at 6 and go to school. But this time there might be an after school activity or even work. You get a car and think "oh boy! Now I get to go out with friends!" But that's not the case. Between school and school work and actual work and clubs, we don't have the time to do shit. And this continues on for 4 more years. Learning. Forgetting. Mindless drama. That's the thing I hate the most. The drama. Who the fuck cares anymore? You graduate and forget everyone you grew up with! So why the fuck do we care? Is it because it makes our boring lives much better? That's what I think it is about. Now near graduation time. Seniors are all excited some are going to college and others, well they don't even know what they are going to do. But all are ready for the change. Something different. People are ready to leave the shitty town. Now college time. We still are going to school. Wake up in the morning just now possibly hungover. It's just like any other day. Wake up. Go to class. Maybe just maybe now you can hang out with friends and do stuff. But remember all the class work that comes with college. Each year you pay 70k just for a useless degree. Graduating year. You are ready. You are ready to face the real world. Get an apartment. Get a job. Pay taxes. Do stuff that ever adult does. Survive. You dreamed of traveling the world. You dreamed of going places. But you can't do that. You are thousands in debt. You have a job that only gives you a one week vacation and you hate it there. But what can you do? With no money there is no dream. Once again. You wake up in the morning. Go to work. Come home. Eat. And sleep. You find someone you love. You get married. You have kids. Get loans to pay for a house when you still have to pay off loans for that student debt. Now the kids are growing up. You still haven't done the thing you wanted. But now there are kids to worry about. You start putting the money for retirement to the kids college. You feel envious. This was your way to fulfilling your dream. But now it's ruined by kids. It is the same old same old. Wake up. Go to work. Come home. Watch your kids grow up. See them graduate. See them try to find meaning in life. Now you are 60 years old. Ready to retire that mindless daily routine. You are ready for that long vacation. But here's the thing. The money saved up, it went to your kids. Now you have nothing ready. It might be just enough to survive off of but it's nothing for you to travel the world. So now you wake up. Do nothing because your body can't take anything else. Sleep. And do the same thing over and over and over again until you die. This is not called living. This is called surviving.
