The pullover

Hello everyone my name is James and right now I'm driving to make a delivery in Texas.

I look down at my speedometers and it looks like I'm driving 90mph.

"90mph In a 60mph zone. Looks like I need to pick up the pace."

I hit the gas as my truck picks up speed. 90, 100, 105, 120 now where getting somewhere. I say to myself as I laugh.

I look into my rear view mirror just in time to see blue flashing lights. "Well looks like I'm getting pulled over again." I roll my eyes as I slowly slow down and pull over onto the side of the road.

I sit here calmly as I wait for the officer to get out of his car and slowly make his way over to the side of my semi.

When he finally makes his way over here he says sternly. "Do you have any idea why I'm pulling you over today."

"Well officer id say it was because of my speed" Wait did he just smirk.

"You would be right there, I clocked you going 119 in a 60mph zone now you do realize this Well is very high speeds to be going especially in a semi like the one here".

I simply laugh to myself and reply. "Yes sir I'm aware but I can assure you I know what I'm doing I won't reck my baby". I Pat the steering wheel.

"Well" he begins to write up a ticket and I swear he's smirking again "I still have to right you a ticket just sign right here. This isn't a mission of guilt this is just saying you will pay the ticket on time"

I sign the ticket and notice it says I was going 70 in a 60mph zone. Didn't he say I was going 119, I wonder to myself.

"Alright here is your ticket, your free to leave just wait for me to get back to my cruiser."

"Alrighty sir you have a good day"

"And to you as well and slow it down a bit" he slowly makes his way back to his cruiser starting it and driving off.

I sit there looking at the ticket. "This ticket is very strange" I say to myself as I turn over the ticket revealing a note on the back.

Meet me at this address after you drop off your load if you want a real speedy job.

Hmm. I think it's safe to say this wasn't no ordinary officer, and this will be exciting.
