The cold dark ocean laps at my feet, waiting to greet
Someone whos broken.
Its cold and uninviting, but somehow he swims with it, goes with the flow.
He promised his life up on land with me, but now he's paying the price;
swimming in the sea.
With the fish and the turtles and the whales and the sharks.
Oh, if only they knew how to mend his broken heart.
His hair is cut short, and blue and pink,
And his hands are holding tight to stalled metal links.
Hes small and scared and so unaware. His eyes tell you the story about how his mind is impaired.
His lips are frozen, chapped and cut. His wrists are tokens to the life that faded. I want to say he made it,
But now he's down down down deep, making sand castles under the sea.
And if poseidon was real, he'd give him right back.
I dont know how to swim, i want my baby boy back.
Theres something wrong with this fuckin' messed up world. Tainting the soul of someone whos never heard.
Making him see and believe those silly words.
Now hes too far gone,
Im never heard.
Silly little boy, running from the fight.
Silly little boy, hes cursed to never sleep at night.
Silly little boy, dont you see what you had to do? Silly little boy, so blue and cold and true.
The ocean, once warm and life like, is filled with sin and my knifes like-
He was supposed to stay on the sand with me, but now hes drowned, fifty-feet deep.
