Everything hurts. From head to toe my body aches. There's a sense of darkness and light on opposite sides of me. My chest, oh god my chest burns. It feels as if my heart and soul has been ripped apart.
Where am I? What happened? Why can't I move? Why is it so bright?
"Alexander."
The angelic voice surrounds my being. I try to move because I know something is wrong.
Why can't I remember? Why can't I move?
"Alexander, it's okay. You're okay just don't move." The voice comes closer as well as a light that seemed to follow whatever was near me.
The owner of the voice looked down at me. Her eyes held so many emotions it was hard to tell which was which. Fear, sorrow, anger, love, everything.
What happened?
"Alexander you need to stop moving. Your thread has been cut."
"Thread." What thread? Wait, "My thread." I spoke slowly.
I froze and it all came crashing down on me.
