Fitting In...

chapter one

My alarm goes off at seven and I struggle to turn it off. I slowly open my eyes and jump off my bed looking in the mirror wondering what to wear, I through a pair of black jeans and a grey top on my bed and went straight into the bathroom to turn on the shower.
I hear mum call "Mason are you up?"
I replie with  "yes, I just taking a shower"
After my shower I get dressed and leave for school. Archie is waiting by the busstop for me just like every morning,
"God what's up with you?"
"What do you mean" I say realising that I have spoke with a angry tone.
"Nothing you just look angry and sound it too"
"Ughh it's just... Nevermind"
The buss comes and drives us to school, once we arrive me and Archie go to find Jack, Connor and Zayne and then the bell rings.
"Science" jack says whilst huffing.
"At least you get to stare at Aalliah for the next hour! " Connor says with a touch of sarcasm in his voice.
"Shut up, I don't like her! You clearly do she's all you go on about Aalliah this and Aalliah that" jack replies clearly getting frustrated.
"Whatever it's obvious you practically stare when she walks past"
Jack goes to say something but instead rolls his eyes and looks away.
"We'll see you'se in p.e then" Archie says as him and I walk up to History.
I couldn't help but stare at Archie the whole time, until he says "hello... Are you even listening?"
"What?"
"Ohhhh forget it, I'll see you in p.e"
I wave and he walks into the history class next to mine.
I slouch onto my chair and answer to the register,
"Yes Miss"
"Mason, can I have a word outside please?"
I don't say anything so I just stand and walk outside with her.
"Mason is there anything bothering you?" She asked
"Erm no, why?"
" I have taught you for 2 years and I know when something is bothering you, you haven't been yourself and I'm hoping that if you talk to m-"
" No there is nothing wrong! Stop harassing me!!" I storm down the corridor not knowing were to go. I run into the toilets and begin to cry, I was all sweaty and felt dizzy...
I wake up on the toilet floor with Archie by my side
"Mason,Mason are you okay!"
"I...I don't know what happened"
"I'll shout for help"
"No...no I'm fine, I'll be fine now"
"So do you want to tell me why you are in here?"
"What do you mean"
"Well I thought you were kept behind in class but when I asked your teacher she said you stormed away when she asked you what was wrong? So if you can't tell her could you tell me?"
"She kept asking me these questions about what is wrong and telling me that I have been acting diffrent but there's nothing wrong she is just weird!"
"Well to be honest Mase...she's right. There is something diffrent I don't know if I have done something to you but you haven't been the same with me, you have been short and wanting to get away from me as soon as possible" He says with disappointment in his voice.
"Archie no, it's not you, look if there was something wrong I would of told you. You know I would! " I lied
"If your sure" He says with a happier voice.
"Could you tell Mr.Jones that I will be late?"
"Yes don't be to late though"
He walks away and tears slowly begin to flow down my cheeks. How could I tell him...he wouldn't understand i...I just, I love him....
