Chapter ten

Emily's POV

It was our last day before we went home, Caitlin, Johnny and Tee had already left with CJ. Sumzi and Electra were also going today. But first well I must explain this from the start. Lucy had ben sneaking out lately we all knew she ws going to meet Carter. When he had come round for tea everyone had loved him. I thought he was nice but there was something more sinsiter to him. I hadn't said anything to Lucy because I liked it when we were friends.

Well she was out with him one weekend and she didn't come back at lunch time niether did she reply to anyone's texts she didn't come home for dinner or super then I started to get worried Lucy was normally back by now she liked to be back so she could rest before sneaking out to see him at midnight. I made some exuse about going to the shops to get some gum. I then ran out and took the bus to town. It was getting late and Liam had texted me a couple of times. I ignored him.

I started to go down the alleys where all the gangs hung out.

"Hey pretty girl," A drunk man called out.

"Leave me along," I told them as he and his gang came closer.

"Fiesty too well this one is good," he said talking to the others who were laughing. He now had a firm grip on my wrist.

"Get off," I shouted at him.

I saw a boy he must have heard and came running over he punch the guy holding me and grabbed my hand and made me run we stopped in an empty alleyway.

"Thanks," I said.

"It's okay I would do anything for a friend," the boy smiled.

"Carter," I said looking at him it was him he looked like he had blood on him he noticed me see it and wiped it away, "I bumped into a wall just after saying goodbye to Lucy."

"Lucy never came home," I told him.

"Lucy never came home," Carter said surprised.

"Yer I came out to look for her," I siad.

"Let me help you I will take this street and you take that one," he said telling me to carry on straight and he went of leaving me in the other direction.

I carried on looking. It must have turned midnight because it was very late eventually I came to one last alley. I looked down it and saw something liking there. I ran in and saw Lucy.

"Lucy," I called.
